Question: Does the control center update automatically or do I have to reinstall it manually?

If there is an update and you start the software, a message will appear. The installation must be started manually, uninstalling the old CC and installing the new one.

for those of you who have updated CC v96 to CC v119-

did you have to do it manually because you did NOT get an update notice?

If you *did* get an update notice, did the update process work trouble-free?

Got the update notice when opening CC. So all good on this side. 

The NEO is there now as well  
Maybe a small thing, but i'm flying the new version in 2020 now and if i open CC (during flight as we speak) it shows "rollback required" : 

Everything works though so no biggie

CC V120 I can no longer see NEO

Got the automated message to download the new version but now got the following message:

Downloaded V.120 and updated all , shows i have version .302 

Downloaded some liveries however none of them show up in 2020 . Have tried both the Experimental and public channels and i've done a reboot . 

Booted up sim 2020 with default livery and i dont get the aircraft showing at the gate .

Did consider it but not in a rush - happy to wait to see if there's anything that can help the guys find/resolve any issue for others that may come across it

No its not SU3 is only in Beta and still has loads of issues. IF you want an unstable mess well then stick with SU3 but dont expect things to work

Working...

I just purchased A321 for 2024. If I click on "variant" it shows liveries instead of selection between engine variants. In turn, If I click on livery I only see few liveries even though I installed about ten of them. Anyone else has this problem?

Ihave all your products on p3d..I also have the A321 on msfs 2020..I also have a partial skalarki home cockpit..which I can only use with the p3d products..when will the HWI be available for msfs 2020/24 so I can use this with my home cockpit??

Please open a support ticket for this, and send us your cclog.txt you will find in %appdata%\flightsimlabs folder.

FS Labs did a great job.

The Control Center reacts better to inputs (but the way with new download from the website is very unconfortable :P)

And I have the best perfomance in MSFS24 in a FS LABS Product EVER.

But I do miss the "klackklack" sounds of the wingblades moving with the wind.

But overall a great job =)

Another thought:
if you have GSX pax ON, please turn them off via FSDT control panel, reload MSFS to see. Then you can turn them back on...

A/C version shown as installed is 11.0.1.302 Exactly as the screenshot i shared in my post

Did another re-install with Virus protection off . GSX Pax was off Btw . All's good now TY

Upgrade for 2020 and installation for 2024 has worked fine for me.

I have been able to launch the bus from 2020 without problems.

Where can we buy it?

I was just wondering if you were planning to rebuild the plane with the 2024 SDK to adhere to the modular SimObject structure at some point in the future, or if we're stuck with the 2020 legacy file system forever.

I also had an issue where the cargo doors didn't open automatically when I was boarding with GSX, but that might have been user error

yes, of course we're looking into the modular simobject structure! We like what Asobo has done with their innovations, even though at the moment there are still some rough edges!

As for cargo doors - too many variables at play but if you can repro consistently, open a support ticket with info on variant, load, etc. so we can take a look?

Tried 3 times with same result.  Have checked for any log files as yet as had to nip away.  Will check tonight unless you or Dunc can point me in a specific direction beforehand

Look in %appdata%\flightsimlabs - they would be in there.

Thanks! Now have to decide whether to be patient and wait for the NEO or not! I suspect I know the answer and my wallet won’t be happy. 

There are some issue with 2024 compatibility ! Variant suppose show engine type or cargo/passenger option not liveries! And liveries suppose show liveries for given variant. This is not the case right now for me. Currently only few liveries show up (not all I installed) and I can select only CFM variant (no IAE). What gives?

 

I had a small question. When I try to install the 2024 version, the install location shows C:\FlightSimLabs2024 by default. Can I point this to my MSFS2024 community folder or leave it as is?

I spent or should I say wasted last Sunday re-installing 2020 only to load it up and uninstall it.

Sorry, but on my system, 2024 looks way more impressive.

There are two elements.  One are common files which is where the suggested location is.  The main parts go to your community folder.  As such, leave as is.

I've just tried again and it's run successfully this time...  

However, a quick check of the log shows this from the previous attempt:

[04/06/2025 14:31:50] - CC v2.0.1.96 requires an update to v2.0.1.120
[04/06/2025 14:31:53] - CC Update Download Error occurred: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

Although I notice that's for .120 and I'm now running .121?

Good question as my msfs2024 is in drive E:\
