Good. We need some time to complete internal testing and ensure all is well - so give us a few days .20 points

We are working on it. We expect more news sometime after SU2 goes stable (out of beta). Thanks!13 points

Small update- We've found a couple issues that we're working on to fix. I know we'd like to have the update in your hands, but we need a bit more time to get it done. Apologies for the delay, SU2 is quite a major update and there a a few things that are different from 2020, even though this is a compatibility update, rather than an all-new model. I really feel for the Asobo developers who have not just one, but all the different development houses to deal with, with so many different requests and ways to do things... .8 points

As I said on Tuesday, as soon as those last remaining snags are resolved . Apologies for the delay!8 points

We are in the testing process - there's a couple snags we are trying to get around, before we can push to our experimental channel. Once those are done, it'll be out.7 points

Regarding FSLabs on MSFS 2024, it's time to step things up. At some point, progress needs to happen — it’s simply not acceptable that, in 2025, there is still zero official communication. There is no Discord server, no updates, no roadmap, and almost no interaction with the community. It’s frustrating for those of us who have supported the brand for years. Things need to evolve. The industry has moved forward, the competition is strong (Fenix, PMDG, etc.), and staying silent this long is not a viable strategy anymore. We’re waiting for something concrete: clear communication, transparency, and especially news about compatibility with MSFS 2024.4 points

As far as I can tell, there's nothing we can say or do to influence when SU2 will be released - I can only say that it is needed before we *can* release, as there are fixes in there that are necessary for us. (as long as they stay until the SU2 RTM) Cheers,4 points

Once we have more news on the NEO we'll share it - forgive us but some things need to be kept private until we're ready to show them off . As for the 330 - as per our previous announcements, it is on the roadmap...3 points

Hi Stephen, I don't remember the quote but I might be talking about different updates within the same MSFS product? i.e. 2020? The 2024 product is so in-flux right now, with things changing continuously (just take a look at devsupport.flightsimulator.com or the bug list Jorg posts each week) that it's impossible to know from one release to the other what might change. For example, there's an issue with what they call "light flares" that happen in 2024 with light effects that cause big bright or black blobs to appear where the light effects are positioned - those are to be fixed in SU3 - possibly . But we're helping Asobo out with everything - and that takes time! Hope that answers you!3 points
-
You are correct. We are trying hard to work and get our product line in MSFS2024, sometimes we keep our heads down way too long and get deeply involved in the development process and communication falls behind. Thank you for bringing your opinion here and posting it - while you seem to be quite a fresh forum member (Dec 2024), we welcome your opinion equally with our old-time customers of course! That's why I communicated the plan to get our CEO products in 2024 with the SU2 release and why when that got delayed a bit, I came here to communicate that. That's also why our News section in our web site, along with our updates, communicates what our plans are each time going forward. That's where you can find our roadmap (I also tend to copy that text over to our Announcement section). There is also an (unofficial) Discord server that we are on, you will find our devs and testers frequently replying there and helping people who ask questions. Perhaps you are unaware of it? So yes- we are trying to get better in communicating, even more so while we are developing. Oh - and I very much appreciate the replies, so keep them coming! Cheers!3 points

I don't find it rubbish. I ditched 2020 yesterday and have been enjoying my experience with 2024. Just need a decent Neo3 points

I wouldn’t say it’s absolute rubbish and aside from the initial problems, mine has certainly been very stable the past few months.3 points

Hi friends, a few weeks ago, I asked when the version for FS2024 would be available, and you told me that it would be when the new version of FS2024 was released. Well, it's already been released, and I'm ready to receive my planes with the new version! What day will the new versions be delivered, or what day will they be activated in FSControl? Thank you very much. have good day !2 points

The plan at the moment is to put one under each wing but we are open to suggestions. Whilst we decide, here is one with the "No Engine Option"2 points

No news is good news, as they say...still, I was hoping for some update regarding Concorde in MSFS. I'll keep waiting and hoping but my fingers are getting tired from being crossed for so long. Took me ages to type this post :D2 points

There is a pattern of vaporware with these projects, and FSLabs does not issue any updates other than “work is ongoing and when we have something to share, we’ll share it”. I personally find the strategy of announcing such projects followed by years of radio silence on any meaningful progress updates a bit disrespectful to customers. We are all here because at the end of the day, we support FSLabs, their work and want them to do well, and underlining it all, we are all very passionate about aviation. This business of announcing/teasing a project followed by long duration radio silence leaves one to believe the project is either not going well, or that FSLabs is insensitive to the customer regard/passionate interest at play. Not to get too into psychology, but a dev that provides even modest updates is able to develop a rapport with their customer base such that years of delays are broadly tolerated by customers with understanding and support, and most importantly, calibrated expectations that it’s going to be a while. To answer your overall question, I believe the A330 is coming to MSFS, although I have zero SA on whether it’s months or years away.2 points

Hi Trevor, The best thing is to subscribe to the Announcements channel. That's the very first place we post when we have news to share.1 point

Right, what's going on guys, with all things taken on board, is the concorde development struggling? We all know, the development of a new aircraft is a lengthy project, but come on chaps, what's going on? Is it in trouble?1 point

Hi Ramon! Thank you for the words of support! They are very welcome and we hope to continue the path - and if / when we fail to do so, we appreciate the words of confidence which help us restart with the same fervor!1 point

Thanks for keeping us posted Lefteris and hope you guys don't end up with too much headache dealing with the snags.1 point

We all are waiting, I’m not even doing flights on 2020 anymore but we all gotta be patient, we don’t need them to come out with a plane that we will complain a whole lot about1 point
-
Exactly, we do not care about these things at all. I hate to see the direction of MS24 at this time. I only use MSFS for FSLabs A321, if not, I wouldn't even use MSFS .Coming from Prepar3D, I have a hard time appreciating the direction of any MSFS, especially since it escape the simulation frame. Now, 99% of the time I use XP12 over any MSFS. But when I do, its definitely FSLabs!1 point

Whilst I agree with this, SU2 appears to be spending a significant amount of time on the Career/Challenge League/Multiplayer side of the simulator. I, and I suspect many other true simmers on here have no interest in those areas. We just want to fly our Airbus! The wait is frustrating. However being online based, sim updates and hotfixes are likely going to become the norm for 2024.1 point
-
What, to rush release SU2 and break another stack of things that will need several hotfixes and SU3? As with anything, spend the time, get it right (or as close as possible). Look at other products and the rush to release them with resultant issues...1 point

A phased out aircraft and especially one without the "glamour" of a 747, would most likely be an exercise in wasted man hours. Sure, it would probably sell some copies but not enough, I believe, to justify the amount of work the devs would have to put into the project, knowing the depth and detail FSLabs is known for. Besides, which version should they choose? A poll might help if they ever decide to do an A340 but I don't see that happening.1 point
-
i wouldn't bother with 2024 just yet..daughter got me that for christmas..absolute rubbish at the minute..i would wait until the beta testers who paid for it have finished with it..it has been removed from my system until such a time as its stable1 point

New Version for the Plugin (only): v0.8.8 - Plugin - Version Reporting: The Version now also includes its Buildtime to help differentiating between Development-Builds - Rewrite of the MSFS Connector: Almost everything is now done natively through SimConnect, the MobiFlight Module is now only required for Calculator Code! - KVAR Command Syntax Change: KVAR Commands can be either a Sequence with each KVAR having exactly one (!) required Parameter -OR- can be exactly one KVAR with 0 to 5 Parameters! - KVAR as Variable: K-Vars or SimEvents can be used as Variable. The initial Value will always be 0 and only change if the Event is ever received (and only reflects the first Index) - Support for FSUIPC Byte Arrays: The Offset Variable now Supports reading a whole Offset Range as Byte Array (Contributed by ngreatorex) - e.g. reading the whole PMDG CDU Offset Range at once. Note that they are only intended to be used in Lua Scripts! - The AVAR Variable Syntax now also supports the Prefixes 'E:' and 'L:' to read Environment and Local Variables (aka L-Vars) - Lua Scripts: the 'SimCommand' Function does not support vJoy Commands anymore. Use the new dedicated 'JoystickCommand' Function which allows sending separate down/up Commands. - Fixed: B-Var Commands not working after switching a Session - FSUIPC Connector (FSX/P3D/MSFS) now allows Commands to be sent when the Simulator is paused - MSFS Connector now allows Commands to be sent when the Simulator is paused - XP Connector now allows Commands to be sent when the Simulator is paused - Visual Overhaul of the Action Designer UI: Elements and Commands now have separate & collapsable Trees and their Appearance was overhauled - Action Designer UI: Copy & Paste now also supports a whole List of Items - i.e. Copying all Manipulators from one Element to another. - Action Designer UI: Added Increment/Decrement Buttons for some Text Fields - Gauge Element (Composite Action): A Range of Markers is now saved as such and the whole Ranged can be edited/changed at once (only for new Marker Ranges). The Syntax for a Marker Range is now '$start:end:step'. - Added an "REST-ish" API to the Plugin to get/set Variables and even send Commands (only understands GET, zero JSON, everything encoded in the URL ). This is mainly intended for Testing and other Edge-Cases, it is not intended as a Replacement for Middleware as FSUIPC or SPAD! - Added Support for X-Plane's WebAPI (12.1.4+) - disabled by default due to an open XP Bug (XPD-16752) :/ - X-Plane Commands now have an "Command Once" Option (enabled by default) to configure if a Command is send as one Command or different active/release Commands (only relevant when WebAPI is enabled) - The Version Check now also reports if a new Development Build is available - Logging for Errors/Exceptions in Lua-Scripts is bit more detailed now - Updated Libraries / Dependencies - Fixed Event Log Error on Shutdown - Profile Manager - Improved Checking if a Profile was installed during Package Installation. All Profiles in a Package must be either installed or ignored for the Installation to continue! - Now offers to start the StreamDeck Software again if it was closed by the Profile Mapping View - New 'Create Package' View to assist with creating & updating Packages for Distribution - Installer - Rewrite of the Installer to have a shared Code-Base across all Tools - The Installer now shows the current installed Versions (on future Installs / Updates) - The Installer now offers Options for Install & Update (i.e. if FSUIPC7 is used as secondary Connector or if the vJoy-Driver should be checked) - Improved Logging for the Installer1 point

The A330 was announced in 2022! And had allegedly already been worked on for some time.... I'd like to think that by now, they'd hardly be starting "from scratch" on it...what are you talking about???1 point

Hello everyone, It’s really great to see FSLabs making a comeback with the A321, and soon the NEO version as well. I truly hope it will be an excellent aircraft. But I’m here to ask about the A330-300 for MSFS2020. Every day, I check here hoping to find news about the A330, but so far I haven’t seen any definite confirmation that you’re working on it. The aircraft is truly underrepresented in MSFS2020, and the versions available from other developers, even those on 24, don’t really meet expectations. We’re looking forward to an A330 at FSLabs quality. I truly hope FSLabs takes into consideration all the simmers who have been eagerly waiting and asking about the A330. There have been many comments and questions, and it would really mean a lot to the community to receive a clear and honest response regarding whether the A330 is part of your plans or not. We’re genuinely looking forward to it, and thank you for your continued hard work.1 point

I really don’t understand all these restrictions. Those waiting to buy the MSFS Concorde could learn a lot from reading the P3D Concorde forum. The alternative is they’ll ask exactly the same questions on release and staff will have their valuable time wasted answering them. Open everything up and FSL lives will be much easier.1 point

After finishing my 20th flight with FSLabs A321 today, I just wanted to say a big thnx for this top notch product of yours. This is the best Airbus in MSFS right now and I am looking forward for future updates.1 point

Nice little trip to do and makes it more immersive having two really high quality sceneries. I also messed around and after a lot of trial and error added some wing vapour, contrails and engine smoke which really does bring it to life. A very lightly loaded G-BOAD got up to Mach 2 in 11 minutes from brakes off and spent 20 minutes at 60,000ft. Astonishing machine.1 point

I echo the sentiments here. Nobody is asking FSL to commit to a timeline. But expectations and showing some appreciation for loyal fans, many of whom have been loyal for well over a decade.. I admit I was surprised the A320 came first - it was inferred at the release time of Concorde for P3d5 that efforts were switched to Concorde for MSFS. responses for changes, bugs and others were given that it'll be fixed in the MSFS version.im not saying any definitive promise was made, but I think it's fair that he community saw what was being said and made certain assumptions. It certainly felt quite clear to me at the time that Concorde for MSFS was months away, rather than years. All we ask for is some clarity. Yes I know FSL historically has been reluctant to share news, but the SIM community had changed over the last 15 years. Customers generally expect a level of transparency and open dialogue with developers - hence the shift to discord and direct engagement for many of even the oldest companies in the Sim genre. I'm tremendously enjoying the FSL A320 in MSFS, it's the best release in that platform so far. But I long and hope to see my favourite airliner over there too soon..1 point
