  1. Hello all, Please wait for our announcement, but since people are already leaking images, I might as well post one of my favorites: And another that our devs really love: Also- some of the info that "leaked" is incorrect because it's been placeholder... so take everything you read around the internets with a grain of salt . More to come very soon! Thank you!

  4. @Anirbinna Roy I think that’s a bit unfair. As you know, we’re on the verge of making a significant announcement for MSFS. Delivering the level of quality we’re known for takes time, and we’ve always prided ourselves on maintaining high standards with our work. This project has been four years in the making, and we’re committed to ensuring every detail is just right before release. While we understand the anticipation, we won’t compromise on quality by rushing these final steps.

  6. Gents- We respect all our competitors' work tremendously, but please refrain from comparing screenshots from compressed videos with screenshots of published products. By all means, once you have the product in your hands, it'll be awesome to do. At that time, give us all the feedback you want as we'll welcome it with open arms and, if you still feel there's room for improvement, we'll do our best to do so. At this time, however, this is a bit premature, no? Thank you!

  7. And with this last reply, I think the thread has run its course. Ray will probably claim that I have something personal against him, again, but I don't - I just don't think that TV resolutions and HDR/4K vs 1080i has anything to do with the thread title. Cheers guys!

  8. So to create something like an FAQ When will release be? When it's ready - but users will be pleasantly surprised (I believe it was said like that. Lefteris wasn't initially that easy to be understood in BBs stream)- Will the NEO be a standalone product? Yes. Users can still by the NEO only as it releases. Will there be a discount for previous owner of products (FSX/P3D) No. However, the 2024 version will be a free upgrade and customers of the A321 CEO for MSFS will receive a discount for the NEO after its release. What features will it have? Basically everything from P3D and more such as a Techlog, GPS Jamming, MCDU, interactions with FA (e.g. smoke in lavatory and when you call them they will come after a while and talk to you), and EFB/MCDU integration of GSX (so that one does not have to use the GSX popup or the EFB under normal conditions in that regard) and other stuff. Can one use the thermal printer? Yes, it can still be used. Any information about Skalarki Hardware? They anticipate they will have more information regarding that soon. Products are already in the hand of testers. Will Winwing products be supported? Not yet, but they are doing their best to accomodate everybody. What about the Concorde? The Concorde is the family favorite and they didn't forget about it. As it's their favorite child it will come to MSFS if they are satisfied with it. What about the other planes of the 320 family? They will come. Will there be EIS1? As of right now, no. At least not with release. Is there going to be P2F? That is still internally discussed at dev level. What about LR and XLR? LR and XLR are not planned at tthe moment. For long range they focus on wide body. What version is being simulated? S7 with a bit more features. How many failures are included? P3D were 70-75ish failures modeled, now it is 300+. Will there be a wx radar? Not initially. They could have gone for the 2D projection MSFS provides, but as they have a focus on realism they weren't satisfied as they would have liked a 3D projection. Is it going to be released for XBOX or the Marketplace? No. Will it be available for MSFS 2024? Yes, at a later date with a free upgrade for existing customers. What about an official Discord server? That is being discussed. Any other information? Things, such as airframe configs or PAX announcements have the same format as in P3D so one could use the P3D files for MSFS. I can't remember anything else of value that had been asked but you can ask it here and I can expand this FAQ. Additionally, info I wrote here could be wrong as I admittedly didn't always pay attention.

  9. Respectfully, Stephen, your comments appear to be misinformed. You continue to suggest that we should invest in creating new content for P3D, but such a move would be commercially unviable and unsustainable in today’s market. The individuals involved in Flight Sim Labs have been part of this industry for over 25 years, and our decisions are guided by extensive experience and understanding of its trends. We believe we’re making the best choices for both our business and our customers. Thank you for your input.

  10. I fear the A320 CEO train has left the station, but I'm interested to see what the FSLabs version brings to the table. I think the A330 or A320 NEO's would have been a better option.

  12. Yeah I must admit I'm getting fed up of people who've either never owned the FSL Airbus, or are just jumping on the bandwagon because it's fashionable to do so among certain community circles, declaring how awful the company is. OK it wasn't the best move, but I feel more shafted by the likes of FB and other companies who manipulate their T&Cs in an attempt to trick you in to giving up your data. It's annoying, but I don't go around crying boycott. I do like the Fenix and it's close to having a full suite of features, but that's its problem. Close isn't good enough when you've used the FSL Airbus. I've spent years hoping they bring the A32x to MSFS because I've missed all these little things that went above and beyond which no developer has managed to replicate on their platform. Go and fire up an IAE on the MSFS competition and then do the same with an FSL Airbus in P3D. The difference is like night and day in every aspect. The sounds and startup sequence don't come close. I remember promptly hitting Alt+F4 in disappointment when I was accelerating down the runway when the much awaited IAE update came out on the Fenix. It's good, but FSL spoiled us and I'm really not interested in those who claim the textures aren't up to par with the competition. Give them time and they'll probably improve! I was late to the party with the FSL offering, so I knew about what had happened but at the same time I was in complete awe at what I was seeing and hearing. Humans aren't infallible and we all make mistakes. I'm sure they're aware of their past mistakes, and for those saying they did it once so will *definitely* do it again... Well they're just spouting out nonsense in the hope of a brief dopamine hit from the likes they'll get from like minded doomsayers. I'm certain the business minded side of the company know that the enough of us are willing to forgive and give them a second chance alongside the potential consequences of going down that avenue again. So I'm going to buy their products with confidence and get back to enjoying something that's been missing from the MSFS hangar for far too long. Just my 2p worth.

  14. Hi FSL Team, I have been a fan of your products for many years. The recent Concorde for P3D is the best simulation I have ever flown - it challenged my current knowledge of flight simming and piloting, elevated the realism factor of my sim beyond levels I had imagined P3D could rise to, and allowed me to explore a past world of aviation I had not previously experienced. To put shortly: Concorde is absolutely superb and the only reason I had continued to fly in P3D since MSFS had proven its capabilities as a sim. I am a huge fan of your products as I have been consistently blown away by the quality. But I worry. While I wish you the absolute best for this new A321CEO product in MSFS (and hopefully many sales), the team's commercial decision making over the past few years, consistent radio silence on development and roadmap, and walking-back of the very little development/roadmap news that had previously chosen to share, has been questionable to me. You comment that (paraphrasing) the decision-making process is guided by extensive experience and understanding of industry trends, for over 25 years - but to be completely honest, I think this may be where the issue lies. The industry has simply shifted away from rewarding this type of development. Simmers are exhausted of the "historic" development type of 5-10 years ago, when waiting this long for a product release or even development news was the norm. The time for treating your customer base in this manner is well and past over, and I think FSL must either shift with it, or be forgotten. With that said, however, I have never developed or been remotely close to flight sim development in my life. Take it with a grain of salt. But I will not lie, I am nervous. I would ask questions about the team's future plans, but I am aware we must await an official announcement, which I am sure and hope will be very soon. At this point, I am trying desperately to be excited for the A321CEO. But being a fan and supporter of the FSL Development Team over the past few years has been both exhausting and frustrating, and I cannot help but think I would have vastly preferred literally any single product or potential product for MSFS from FSL other than an A320CEO variant. We shall certainly have to wait and allow the product to speak for itself, and I sincerely hope it leaves me eating my own words! Cheers, and best of luck with the release - feel free to blow us all away with another spectacular simulation!!!

  15. Hopefully this shall aid in removing your confusion. An Xbox controller is compatible with a PC and, as Andy has said, is a joy to use with the camera system. No mention was made of Concorde being on an Xbox.

  16. Hello everyone, We are pleased to have now pushed our v291 update to both experimental and public channels within the FSL Control Center this afternoon for our FlightSimLabs A321ceo product line. This update addresses some issues that have affected a subset of users who own a lot of add-on products in their MSFS community folder, several stability and crash-to-desktop issues and additional Systems fixes. We sincerely hope this will improve your day-to-day experience with the product going forward. Moreover, v291 also extends hardware access to more EFIS as well as ECP events, with further expansion on this interface planned over the coming weeks. Work with our industry partners to integrate this interface into their native software is continuing! We also made changes to balance our sound sets in the cockpit, however we are aware that some issues still exist. As communicated on the forums, we will continue this work throughout the holidays but we wanted to provide this to you all today as part of the v291 update to gather some feedback on them and ensure that we’re working towards the right path. Currently, customers can access this update via the Flight Sim Labs Control Center, through both the public and the experimental channels (instructions here). If you haven’t yet, please make sure you update your Navdata via Navigraph Hub, as there is a new cycle available, and then run Control Center separately from the Simulator once, before starting Microsoft Flight Simulator. 17. No. I'm thinking of exactly what I said. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/a32n/a20n https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/a32n/a21n I know. It's called "irrational snobism." Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and 2020 are superior simulations to P3D in pretty literally everything. There has never been a time in which this wasn't the case. But ultimately, this isn't even that important. The important factor is that FSL is a business, and a business' primary goals are to stay in business and generate revenue and from that profit. The ol' dear "put food on the table." Today's P3D is completely incapable of fulfilling these conditions (and struggled even before). That's not FSL's fault, or any third-party developer's fault. It isn't even Microsoft's or MSFS' fault. The only guilty party for this is Lockheed Martin, which was incapable (or unwilling) of creating and maintaining a platform capable of properly supporting healthy business for third-party developers. No one else made their business choices for them, and their business choices are pretty literally the opposite of what third-party companies depending on their platform need to thrive.

  18. Fully agree with the others here! Very excited to see FSL finally arriving in the new sims, but the market will be VERY slim for any CEO variant. A NEO however you would more or less have a monopoly. Fenix has also stated very little intrest in making a NEO any time soon so it would make a lot more sense commercially
    9 points
  19. Sure have, but you said "not sure there are any great differences between the various sims anyway" when that is 100% not the case, since the visuals are on a whole other world than P3D. I've never had MSFS crash in over a year. Never had anything go wrong with the mandatory updates. Which include these free scenery, airport, and world updates. I just click update and let it do it's thing. I'm currently sitting at almost everything on Ultra settings, in the MD-11, over Egypt and getting over 60 FPS. People on Avsim still post about "uninstalling windows" and things like that like it's 1999 again. I installed MSFS over two years ago, set my settings, and have not been back to the options page except to set up controls for new airplanes as they come along. No tweaking, no fixing things, nothing. It just works. When the Concorde comes (will it ever?), I really REALLY hope you check it out, because with MSFS24's historical weather, it's right up your alley.

  20. Isn't it funny that you post this yet you still have purchased the Sharklets which released way after that whole thing? Let it go now. If you don't want it then just move on don't need to write essay which adds nothing.

  21. No need to touch the EFB for GSX to do its thing! You operate the aircraft normally and send certain info to ground operators via datalink... that's all. There was a slight misunderstanding on BB's stream about certain GSX elements so that this didn't come through in all its automated glory
    8 points
  22. That’s your opinion which you’re entitled to. It’s not a fact. LM only entered the arena because Microsoft pulled the plug on the Aces team 16 years ago. Without their involvement people would still have been flying FSX until 2020 or have switched to XP. More respect should be shown to LM. P3D will always run and doesn’t require remote servers. The last two weeks have been an unmitigated disaster for MSFS2024. No doubt they’ll get their act together but I’m still very wary of being so reliant on external resources.

  31. Steve, I encourage you to give FS2020 an honest try. I, too, was resistant for a long time, but paradoxically, the nearing release of 2024 pushed me over, and I have found, that unlike at the time of my previous attempt, I can now use it without any major compromises (I would still like to have Chaseplane, but with Flow... I can get around good enough, and lack of 2D panel system including pop-ups is annoying, but manageable) What I have found is a wonderful platform, full of active communities I have not seen since Aces was disbanded. The platform enables devs to deliver exceptional planes - even freeware ones, again, not seen since the likes of Project Tupolev in FS9/FSX or iFly 747. And I can see that FSL is going to jump straight in and raise the bar even further. That's all not to mention the immersion that the graphical engine, and rich environment of free and paid sceneries allow for. For the first time ever, I can fly VFR and not feel weird about it. But it also extends into airliner flying - landing in LCY, AMS or FRA and recognizing the landmarks I recognize from landing in them as pax just hits different. There's a reason that so many people have switched.

  32. I am honestly hyped up after the MEL video ... thats so cool....Honestly when one of the devs at FSL told in one of the now closed threads that they are doing something which has never been done before(innovating) ,i kinda expected them to do something like this, which i thought was not possible in flight sim but here we are with FSL setting the standard higher again!! After using the existing p3d titles and seeing the latest youtube uploads ,i am convinced that the bar will be set really really high when FSL comes with their products and considering(they will continue to add features updates like updating the FMS ,newer digital RMP etc etc which Airbus is doing in real life),this product will be THE GOLD standard of the A320 family like the way it was during the P3D era... Really pumped up for the actual official announcement which i hope is not far away!!! @Lefteris Kalamaras @Andrew Wilson @Norman Blackburn

  33. This is actually not true. The Lufthansa solution is still up to date and many companies are using this - including LH. Its just another tool compared to Airbus FlySmart. I dont see any problem when FsLabs sticks to this layout as it still represents a modern interface.

  35. From the image, we can see that the L/DEV has finally appeared, which suggests that RNP AR flights may now be achievable. Additionally, there seem to have been significant avionics upgrades, such as the FOB BELOW 3T notification. The textures and modeling also appear to have received substantial improvements. Most importantly, after flying both the P3D FSL and MSFS2020 alternatives, I remain convinced that FSL is currently the best aircraft available, offering unparalleled accuracy in controls, avionics logic, a highly realistic flight model, and more. Thus, even though I already own "some products", I’m still willing to purchase such an outstanding product.

  36. Trust me Ray, the difference is abnormal. It's embarassing to say the least for P3D. MSFS is just another league, no matter the location, altitude or time of day. But that's to be expected. P3D is an old platform while MSFS is the gold standard of today's tech.
