Trackir 5

Featured Replies

Hello!

I am thinking about purchasing the TrackIR 5 for my FSX.

What do you think about it, guys? Is it worth the price?

And is it really as good as everybody say?

I would really appreciate any answer! :)

Kind Regards,

Maurice

Personally, I hate it,

I much prefer flying with ezdok and have the middle mouse button to move around the vc! :)

Hello Alex!

Thank you for you honest oppinion! :)

Kind Regards,

I absolutely love it. If you fly VFR at all its invaluable. Works pretty well with Ezdok as well.

I simply could not imagine flying without it....

Track IR is good for smaller planes (e.g. Cesna) but not for jets. It just gives me headache. I rarely use this gadget.

whatever you fly VFR or IFR, TrackIR 5 + Track Clip Pro is a must (although rather expensive).

It's very convenient in many a/c including Concorde X v/c cockpit, to easily manipulate switches or buttons located in the overhead/aft panels and to activate devices located on the throttle quadrant without having to open the corresponding 2D panel

For me: EZDOK in combination with my X52 is the answer.
