Hello everyone.

I really want to get me the Concorde X for FSX-Steam (I used to fly the one from SSTSIM  on FS2004 and I loved it).

I want to buy a copy. I know it is no more on sale on the web site. But surely someone here knows how I can get it.

Are you saying that the files of Concorde X are absolutely not compatible with FSX Steam? Or is it just the installation path that can cause problems?

A normal installation path for FSX would be: c:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Microsoft Games\FSX

As the path for FSX-Steam is: c:\ProgramFiles (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\FSX

Can you be more specific, please. What does that mean "doesn't support"?

I have seen situations where people said "It is not compatible with FSX-Steam" when in fact it was, when you know how to install it.

Are the files in Concorde X totally not compatible with FSX-Steam? Is that the problem?

Hi Denis,

You can try and shoehorn it all you want, renaming paths and files, editing the registry and more and it still won’t work.

Yes. It IS too much to ask. Concorde is no longer sold. By us. Sorry to disappoint but that is the state of play.

Hi Denis,

In answer to your questions above:

• Yes.
• Yes.
• And yes.

It will not work.  There are parts of flight simulator that the Concorde hooks into that are different between the boxed and the steam editions.  

Given that we won't be changing our stance in regards to the Concorde I will close this topic.  Thankls in advance for your understanding.
