Claas Krause Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Dear FSLabs community, Hope you are all doing great! I wanted to open up a quick discussion to see where everyone’s head is at regarding the current SU6 stable version, and more importantly, what we are all hoping to see addressed in SU7—specifically when it comes to clouds and weather? For those of us flying high-fidelity, study-level aluminum, the atmospheric engine dictates half the immersion. SU6 development has been a bit lackluster? much improvements under the hood only? but some important technical details like ILS threshold / accuracy ... thanks a lot, warm regards, Claas Quote

Yeah, I agree — native Dynamic FG is a pretty big step up. I’m still not entirely settled on how I want to set up the rig, though. It’s a pretty beefy system, but I do like falling back to Dynamic FG when it makes sense. Right now I’m running a 30 FPS base cap and targeting 120 FPS with Dynamic FG at 4K. With a 5090, 9800X3D, and 64 GB of RAM, I’m still trying to figure out what the sweet spot is. are many of you into weather generating addons like StrataWX? everything we add doesn´t help with stability of course and the results so far don´t convince me Quote
