Sweetening the wait: Is the FSLabs A321 CEO worth it while waiting for the A320 Neo?

Dear community,

I hope you’re all having a great day! I’m currently just biding my time waiting for some FSLabs news, and I’ve been debating whether to 'sweeten' the wait by picking up their A321 CEO.

I currently fly the A320 NEO extensively, and I’m also a big fan of the Fenix. I’m itching to add something new to my hangar, but I’m hesitant ... is the CEO different enough to justify the investment, or would it feel redundant? (I’d even pre-order their A320 NEO if I could, but for now, I’m stuck waiting!)

Specifically, are there standout features that truly set the CEO apart from the current modern Airbus options? Beyond the obvious differences in liveries, engines, and avionics, does it offer a distinct flight model, performance characteristics, or just a different 'vibe' overall?

Alternatively, would I be better off spending my time (and money) learning something completely different, like the Fokker 70/100 or the MD-82? I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether the CEO is a worthwhile addition or if a different airframe would be a better way to refresh the fleet.

Thanks in advance for the advice!

my very best, warm regards,

Claas

Which actually gives me an idea… 😄

I’d love something like an Early Supporter Pack. You could buy the A320neo already now, before the official release, get access 2-3 weeks early, help with bug hunting and feedback, and maybe receive a few exclusive behind-the-scenes updates or other little perks. FSLabs coffee mug 😉

I’d happily pay for something like that. 😄
