In the early day’s when a new update came out , Lefteris wrote a ‘’newsletter’’ of what’s is up ahead or some hint’s or teasers , but these day’s he only write what is in the update .  No more teasing etc etc____  found it alway’s nice to read and dream on about what’s up ahead…. LIKE THE A330. .MY God, this would be something…

fingers crossed…

I think we can be happy if we get a Concorde in 2027 / 28. Might be a profitable product and a good show of force to be finally back amongst the real good MSFS2024 developers. Hopefully with decent performance ... 🙂

I'll be totally honest, from what we've seen so far (≈ ZERO) I'm not that optimistic about Concorde releasing anytime soon :(

A Labs A330ceo... A333/332... that would be something indeed!

Who cares about the Concord...I think the majority would be interested in a modern airliner than something that retired in the early 2000s.

Whilst its understandable that we all want different things, one only has to look at the recent Tristar release.  The last passenger flight for one of those was over 25 years ago and yet seemingly very popular in the sim community when one looks at the various sim tracking sites.

I think it's more likely that today competition is high. You have to keep everything you do behind the scene in secret and don't let you competitor know what's your next plan. Judging by the survey result, I think FSL need to do something.

But as I continue reading through FSL forum, A330 is still in the pipeline along A320 Family from P3D era will join MSFS in the next future.

Hi Pamupong,

Surveys and indeed statistics, can by made to say whatever the author wishes.  We are happy with our current path.

This is exactly how I think too! If the concord was an active thing would indeed be worth the struggle, and since its a Labs, the fidelity will be steep!
Much rather see A320 family, A330s, etc from FSLabs. Since its a hifi simulation and all, why to actually invest too much on something that's in a hall of fame...

The FSLabs Concorde is the most challenging, immersive and rewarding aircraft I fly in P3D. There is a steep learning curve but once you get the hang of it there's nothing like it. As a result of buying the sim version I went to see some of the remaining Concordes on display in the UK and read several books written by Concorde pilots. Along with the PMDG 747 (which is also hardly flown IRL) it is key to enjoying my sim experience. I can understand why people want IRL aircraft but the Airbuses are all quite similar to each other, as are the Boeings. Concorde is unique IMO.

According to your profile you were 15 when Concorde stopped flying. So I doubt you’ve ever flown in her or even seen her fly in real life, not in YT videos.

I suspect if you were older and seen her fly you might well have a different opinion. Even the highly sceptical American press were awed when she was shown to them for the first time.

Yes, it’s challenging to fly but once mastered there’s nothing remotely similar. Aviation took a huge step backwards in October 2003.

Maybe it’s just me, but there’s a ton of discontinued “mediocre” aircraft like the Maddog (okay, still flown in Iran and South America to a small degree), the Avro RJ, the TriStar, even the A340 is a CR species. PMDG is working on the 747 (fair enough, that one’s probably the most recognisable aircraft, but still…).

So I’d have thought the Concorde is the aircraft. To a certain extent, it’s the only decommissioned aircraft whose allure I’d completely understand. But maybe that’s a very Eurocentric view of things (which, in fairness, probably reflects a good portion of the flightsim community).

I wouldn´t even fly the Concorde that often but I would have to have it. It was all I cared about in MSFS 2000 Professional Edition as a kid as well.

When you speak about Concorde and Airbus always remember that the latter was literally born from the former! You wouldn't have Airbus if it wasn't for Concorde! Show some respect! 😁

I think the Concorde definitely has a market in MSFS. Given how popular MSFS is, I’m pretty sure a lot of people would buy and fly this aircraft. I’m just a bit worried that life on VATSIM might get more difficult if a lot of people start flying it without really knowing how to operate it properly 😄

It would also be really cool if the Concorde came with a fully shared cockpit feature.
It’s really about having a good mix of aircraft to fly, not just flying Airbus 24/7 all the time 🙂

Yes, I really can’t stress it — or repeat it — enough. I genuinely think the Concorde is, in a way, one of the only truly worthy discontinued passenger aircraft there is. A technological marvel. Maybe very European, a bit old-world, a bit transatlantic romanticism, but definitely amazing.

Alright, yes, it was incredibly posh, and I’m not usually the biggest fan of products that only catered to the super rich, especially because wealth so rarely comes through pure meritocracy, but still… Concorde somehow rises above that for me.

Absolutely cannot wait for the FSL Concorde. (and the A320 Neo lol)

What’s more important to you? Having Concorde or having MSFS? Actually, you don’t need to answer that question because I already know the answer.

It’s MSFS. If it was Concorde you would have bought it nearly three years ago and installed it in P3Dv5. But you’re patiently waiting for the day when Concorde will arrive for MSFS.

But which version? It’s quite possible MSFS28 will be available first. So what do FS Labs do then? Release it for 24 when many people might move to 28? And is it going to be compatible with MSFS20 which will be six years old this summer? Probably not.

For the last 3 years I’ve been happily flying Concorde around my virtual P3D world. At 50,000ft+ do you really think the skies are going to look fundamentally different? Doubtful. And at 10,000ft when the ground will look better in MSFS do you really have the luxury of admiring the view? Not if you want a successful landing!

You’ve already got four aircraft for P3D. Go and get Concorde and make it five. 😉

Yeah, VATSIM should impose an extra study-level exam to operate such complex machines in the network, or it will destabilize the experience

Yeah, I can imagine, and I understand. One old aircraft I would really like to see as FSLabs... is the A300 or A310!

Don’t be too disappointed if they never appear. Just two more aircraft that fly at Mach 0.84 or thereabouts. Wouldn’t you rather fly at Mach 2?

Yeah... could be interesting, but... I will need to operate this thing properly and at 100% or else I won't like what I'm doing and I won't go anywhere! :D
I'm sure the Concord has lot of stuff that I have zero clue, and the engineer panel that who knows how long it will take me to familiarize and understand things nearly 100%.
I will have probably intensive training and research to do :D I think I would rather stick the most common airliners that I'm already well familiar. I was also considering the Felis 747 classic then I realize how much training I need to do... and the INS... ufff

@Vasilios Grekousis, the whole engineer panel actions are done for you. No option to turn it off unlike 32-bit Concorde. But the immersion factor with your virtual crew is greatly increased.

It comes with a full tutorial so providing you follow that it will greatly reduce your learning curve.

But be prepared to exit your comfort zone from flying subsonic aircraft. Climb rates are like nothing you’ve experienced before and descent rates of 4500fpm are standard.
