Fifty years ago today Concorde flew its first commercial flight. Twenty seven years of supersonic travel came to an end in October 2003. If you were lucky enough to fly on her it’s an experience I’m sure you’ll never forget. Sadly, I didn’t have the money but I do the next best thing and fly her in P3Dv5.

Conceived and built in an age when this country and France had extremely clever people.

A nice video from Air France to commemorate the concorde area.  An interesting aspect is that the presenter is Ben Smith, the Air France KLM group CEO

I was lucky to fly on Concorde (JFK-CDG-JFK) and it was indeed an experience I still cherish (and the best ever use of my frequent flier miles)
