Norio Sasaki Posted September 11, 2025 Posted September 11, 2025 I haven't purchased either MSFS2020 or MSFS2024 yet. Which is recommended for FSLAB ? Quote

Lloyd Glenn Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 Sorry for the stupid question but purchased and installed the a21N last week. Why is it labeled as MSFS 2020 in my MSFS 2024? How can I fix this. Thanks in advance for your sage advice. Do I need to uninstall any of the default A320 versions before I installed the FSLABS purchase? BTW seems to work ok in 2024, so far. 1 Quote
Vasilios Grekousis Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 MSFS 24... but beware of SU4... I get CTD's ever since. I use it in FS20 for stability, until SUs in 24 stabilize. As for the FS2020 label, I think it means that is an import and not fully 2024? Not sure but good to know... 1 Quote
Lloyd Glenn Posted September 19, 2025 Posted September 19, 2025 thanks so it is normal that it is labeled MSFS 2020? Quote

Yeah, initially at first release, other aircraft addons where doing the same thing until they fully fully converted it into FS24 standards and etc eventually FSLabs 1 Quote
Lloyd Glenn Posted September 20, 2025 Posted September 20, 2025 Bravo, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. Enjoy your weekend. 2 Quote

In fact, I'm wondering the same thing too. Quote

Ahh ... good to know, I think SU4 in general is a blessing but the Fenix has been rather horrible, suprisingly enough the iniBuilds are very smooth now. I know the FSLabs only in SU4 and it has been a VERY bumpy road. but let's see... I hope the team can come up with solutions. I bet it's complicated with Asobo changing things without notification... 1 Quote

I know Right... they keep braking stuff and its like they don't care right? I think what kills the MSFS platform, is on the wrong hands, the current SU on beta right now, simply broken the amazing FSLabs and can't even takeoff-roll, (ever since the latest MSFS update), without detecting a collision on the runway. 100% reproducible, noticed that only since the update from few days ago... there are lot of issues in this platform. We went like from 2020 to 2024, to actually even get worse and worse... I really do liek the platform in general, but at this time there are just too many things that pushing me away, 89% of the time I use XP, but really looking forward to stability in FS24 because I really like the FSLabs and AI Living World from SI.. It is probably one of the best Airbus renditions I've ever touched to be honest, and all started ever since Prepar3D to current era. I some times wished that FSL could bring the existing Airbuses in v6... MSFS right now is really killing the FSL... Maybe I should fully opt out of the betas, to probably get to enjoy the FSLabs as much I did in P3D... 1 Quote

When i purchased MSFS24 about a week back ,i was quite nervous regarding the camera controls and how i would have to work my way into msfs to make myself "comfortable" with a brand new sim .It did take me a about a week to get everything sorted out(installing airports, tweaking, setting the camera's up)but now i kinda got a hold of it. Surprisingly enough SU3 (which was the latest update at the time)was VERY stable for me except when i ran out of VRAM (am still optimizing my settings).I am starting to love it tbh . The base sim is fantastic tbh. One issue which i have is with the sensitivity of fslabs as i use WinWing's URSA Minor ,do you have any specific suggestions for the same when it comes to the curves? I am kinda struggling with that at this point Quote

Right now, since the latest update few days ago, 100% of time where I take off som somewhere I get collision detection, haha... then it restarts from the gate but within the same exact session, but then the second departure takeoff roll attempt happens without the detection collision... 😮 Quote

Martin Maros Posted December 24, 2025 Posted December 24, 2025 Whichever one you prefer, I would recommend FS2024. Quote
