[Resolved] Is the license key linked to motherboard?

Featured Replies

Sorry if this sounds like a weird question but iv recently just upgraded from AM4 platform to AM5 so have a brand new motherboard and im just wondering if i should totally uninstall the FSLabs and all my other programs on my PC like MSFS 2020 and 2024, PMDG products  etc .... before i put all these new components in? has anyone had any experience with this not having to re-install everything or even if it would work? thanks for any advice in advance

Hi Dene,

Its really dependant on licensing - some may see this as a change in PC - which it effectively is - and flag up a license issue.

If able, it's always prudent to uninstall and start afresh in such cases.
