Ahmet Gashi Posted June 23 Posted June 23 Hello, I don't agree with the price of the Neo either, I find it absolutely problematic to close a thread. You have to deal with criticism and I think 50% discount is reasonable if you already have the a321 Ceo. I've always been a fan, but if you start doing something like that with customers, then I'll look at other developers and buy the others instead. 3 Quote
dale robertson Posted June 23 Posted June 23 The NEO is a standalone product so it's priced accordingly , Its nice to get any discount if we decided to buy the CEO but the choice was ours to make , either we waited for the NEO and paid the price it is or we bought the CEO (because we wanted to secretly) and got a small discount off the NEO. A 50% discount just isn't feasible for a standalone product, next everyone would want discounts due to buying the LABS on P3D , Something is always better than nothing Quote
Can Yakan Posted June 27 Posted June 27 50% is alot isnt it ? I think its nice to have atleast some discount. They never said that you will get the neo for the half price so i guess its fair. Quote
Jacques Mohamedi Posted June 27 Posted June 27 want 50% off? It's like when you buy an item in a shop, the second item automatically has to be reduced by 50%? Would you work for less than 50%? Think again before asking for the impossible! Quote

Would you work for less than 50%? Think again before asking for the impossible! Offering a discount is always appreciated, but expecting a developer or company to significantly reduce their profit margin—especially on a standalone product they invested time, skill, and resources into—isn't a sustainable or fair expectation. Most developers rely on those profits to continue development, support, and, frankly, to pay their bills. Just like any other business, they need to price their products based on value, effort, and market dynamics—not purely on what others might feel is fair. At the end of the day, no one is obligated to purchase the product. If the price doesn't suit you, it's completely valid to wait, pass, or explore other options. But asking for 50% off just because you own a previous version isn't how software development typically works—especially when the new product is a separate release. Constructive feedback is welcome, but it’s also important to be realistic about expectations. Developers deserve fair compensation for their work, just like any of us. 3 Quote
Lefteris Kalamaras Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Just to clarify- we don't lock threads because someone will express an opinion that we might disagree on - history has proven that. We lock threads when the topic is exhausted and it veers away from the original discussion. That's what happened there and exactly why we locked it. Thanks . 1 Quote
