An opinion on the FSL A321 Neo

Featured Replies

I'll be honest: at first, I was hesitant to buy it FSLabs products. Hearing of the controversy regarding the Malware stuff made me hold back at first, but after talking to a few users who've been lifelong users of FSL Products and hearing their opinions on it I decided to give it a shot. And boy am I glad I did.

There have been a few problems with liveries not being there (which turned out to be my own stupidity with addon linker) and the FSDT installer starting literally ever time I did the slightest change in the CC. However the staff at FSL is insanely good from what I can tell and they've been able to help me with pretty much any issue I had so far.

Jumping into the plane I was greeted by a pretty good looking cockpit (the glareshield could use some work tho). The sounds are also very good and oh boy do I love the systems. It doesnt handle like a paperplane or a brick it's very in depth. The AOC menu is the best I've seen with any 3rd part dev and I love the way You guys integrated GSX into there flawlessly. Having a Flightlog in the EFB and being able to save fuel for the next flight is also really good. Performance wise there's been a few things I've already mentioned in a few other posts and I am certain there will be fixes for this sooner or later.

Livery suggestions are pretty useless as any livery I suggest has already been made lol (for the love of god please drop the PW.)

I am kinda lacking a discord server from FSL but thats another topic :)

All in all: I am very happy with the product and can't wait to see where the Neo will be in the future.

Enough said, my copilot is yelling at me because virtual pax are waiting :P

tell your copilot what "chain of command" means ;D

Thanks for your feedback Niko :) I hope you enjoy the plane as much as we do! And livery wise: I got u a little screen in your request ;)

My first post! I too am really beginning to love this A321 NEO. I have the Toliss NEOs and Fenix A320 and while I love both of those, this FSLabs NEO gets even deeper, and has so many quality of life issues, such as GSX hands off integration, flightlog, jump ahead to waypoint, and other cool things that no other developer has done yet. It really deserves more love and positive reviews. I do agree that some model work and textures need cleaning up, but I place my value on deep systems and flight model "feel", and FSLabs is pulling ahead for me right now :)

Same here, I was a bit concerned about FSLabs products after all that happened, but I will always be thankful for the great product that you created in P3D and I was missing it honestly. I have seen a lot of very positive videos and reviews of the Neo in MSFS2024, and I'm thinking of getting it as well. Thanks again.

In case You're curious: It's been close to a week since I got the Neo on release day. Staff are still very response (unless its about rain sounds lol) and they work hard on fixing performance bugs. I can only recommend the Neo
