Dear FlightSimLabs Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your assistance regarding a concern I have about cloning the hard drive of my laptop, which may impact the activation of my purchased product, A321ceo for MSFS.
The current 2TB hard drive on my laptop is running out of storage space, so I plan to clone its contents onto a larger 4TB hard drive. I've heard that your product is bound to the computer device, and I'm worried that replacing the hard drive through cloning might cause the activation of A321ceo to fail.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could clarify whether this cloning process will indeed lead to activation issues. Additionally, if it's possible to proceed with the hard drive cloning without problems, I would like to request detailed instructions on how to carry out this operation while ensuring the normal functionality of my purchased product. Any guidance you can provide would be highly appreciated.
Best regards,

Hello Jerry,

If you're at all concerned, you can uninstall the aircraft and FSL libraries from Control Center before you clone your drive, and then reinstall on the larger (cloned) drive.

Best advice I can give on the topic at present with the information available.

Hey Jerry,

As Matt says, i had to do this when I had a brand new drive installed when my original one was playing up in February. It was a cleaner and much better way of doing it. Just completly uninstall and reinstall to the new drive.

Mine worked straight away.
