Hi Folks, any news on when any of the Airbus lineup will drop for 2024?

As someone who's going from P3D straight to 2024 the wait feels like forever!

I wouldn’t say it’s absolute rubbish and aside from the initial problems, mine has certainly been very stable the past few months.

I don't find it rubbish.

I ditched 2020 yesterday and have been enjoying my experience with 2024.

Just need a decent Neo

We are working on it. We expect more news sometime after SU2 goes stable (out of beta).

Thanks!

Then let's put pressure on Microsoft. We miss FSLABS now.

What, to rush release SU2 and break another stack of things that will need several hotfixes and SU3?  As with anything, spend the time, get it right (or as close as possible).

Look at other products and the rush to release them with resultant issues...

Whilst I agree with this, SU2 appears to be spending a significant amount of time on the Career/Challenge League/Multiplayer side of the simulator.

I, and I suspect many other true simmers on here have no interest in those areas. We just want to fly our Airbus!

The wait is frustrating. However being online based, sim updates and hotfixes are likely going to become the norm for 2024.

And what percentage of the market does that make up compared to the less serious "players"?   It's been such a niche market for so long that I think we forget the thousands who want to play it as a game rather than as a sim.  Simply put, if there wasn't the XBox market, we would not be seeing the investment being put into the sim that has and continues to be...

As far as I can tell, there's nothing we can say or do to influence when SU2 will be released - I can only say that it is needed before we *can* release, as there are fixes in there that are necessary for us. (as long as they stay until the SU2 RTM)

Cheers,

Good.

We need some time to complete internal testing and ensure all is well - so give us a few days :).

Exactly, we do not care about these things at all. I hate to see the direction of MS24 at this time.
I only use MSFS for FSLabs A321, if not, I wouldn't even use MSFS .Coming from Prepar3D, I have a hard time appreciating the direction of any MSFS, especially since it escape the simulation frame. Now, 99% of the time I use XP12 over any MSFS. But when I do, its definitely FSLabs! :D

Hi friends, a few weeks ago, I asked when the version for FS2024 would be available, and you told me that it would be when the new version of FS2024 was released. Well, it's already been released, and I'm ready to receive my planes with the new version! What day will the new versions be delivered, or what day will they be activated in FSControl? Thank you very much. have good day !

You won't get an answer to your question.

It is undergoing testing and they will release it when they are ready

We all are waiting, I’m not even doing flights on 2020 anymore but we all gotta be patient, we don’t need them to come out with a plane that we will complain a whole lot about

We are in the testing process - there's a couple snags we are trying to get around, before we can push to our experimental channel. Once those are done, it'll be out.

The question is, will both the A321CEO and A321NEO aircraft be available in MSFS2024 once they complete internal testing?

321ceo only now.

I also am waiting for you in MSFS24... I deleted my FS2020 because finally I have PMDG over there, and the SU2 made everything work like a charm, at least from a user perspective...

Since SU2 is out now and in stable condition, when can we expect news in regard to the A321 coming to 2024?

As I said on Tuesday, as soon as those last remaining snags are resolved :). Apologies for the delay!

We'd waited almost 4 years for Msfs 2020. A few days don't bother us I belive. :)

Will this be only update for 2024 or include some fixes?

Small update-

We've found a couple issues that we're working on to fix. I know we'd like to have the update in your hands, but we need a bit more time to get it done. Apologies for the delay, SU2 is quite a major update and there a a few things that are different from 2020, even though this is a compatibility update, rather than an all-new model.

I really feel for the Asobo developers who have not just one, but all the different development houses to deal with, with so many different requests and ways to do things... :).

Thanks for keeping us posted Lefteris and hope you guys don't end up with too much headache dealing with the snags.

About the A321 neo that will be launched along with MSFS24?

Regarding FSLabs on MSFS 2024, it's time to step things up. At some point, progress needs to happen — it’s simply not acceptable that, in 2025, there is still zero official communication.

There is no Discord server, no updates, no roadmap, and almost no interaction with the community. It’s frustrating for those of us who have supported the brand for years.

Things need to evolve. The industry has moved forward, the competition is strong (Fenix, PMDG, etc.), and staying silent this long is not a viable strategy anymore.

We’re waiting for something concrete: clear communication, transparency, and especially news about compatibility with MSFS 2024.

Question on pricing - for those of us not upgrading from 2020 (don't currently have the fslabs on 2020) any benefit in buying before the MSFS2024 release. I wasn't clear reading this as it appears to be about upgrading

Only if you buy CEO from 2020 version. No discount benefit from P3D version since they said that this is build from scratch in 2020 version.

I know some who were avid fslabs fans but left due to lack of communication. They thought the company has died. PR it seems is never their strength lol

Or maybe it is because of certain kind of people... even in flightsim community there are people going crazy and threaten devs because of delays or products not meeting their expectation. So why PR if product is not ready... but yeah... a little bit more information like a dev Blog would be cool :)

You are correct. We are trying hard to work and get our product line in MSFS2024, sometimes we keep our heads down way too long and get deeply involved in the development process and communication falls behind.

Thank you for bringing your opinion here and posting it - while you seem to be quite a fresh forum member (Dec 2024), we welcome your opinion equally with our old-time customers of course!

That's why I communicated the plan to get our CEO products in 2024 with the SU2 release and why when that got delayed a bit, I came here to communicate that. That's also why our News section in our web site, along with our updates, communicates what our plans are each time going forward. That's where you can find our roadmap (I also tend to copy that text over to our Announcement section).

There is also an (unofficial) Discord server that we are on, you will find our devs and testers frequently replying there and helping people who ask questions. Perhaps you are unaware of it?

So yes- we are trying to get better in communicating, even more so while we are developing.

Oh - and I very much appreciate the replies, so keep them coming!

Cheers!

@Lefteris Kalamaras..I questioned this when you said that you wasn’t supporting p3d anymore..and was told..and I quote..different updates with msfs doesn’t cause any problems with our product like it does with p3d..so why is this an issue now??

Hi Stephen,

I don't remember the quote but I might be talking about different updates within the same MSFS product? i.e. 2020? The 2024 product is so in-flux right now, with things changing continuously (just take a look at devsupport.flightsimulator.com or the bug list Jorg posts each week) that it's impossible to know from one release to the other what might change.

For example, there's an issue with what they call "light flares" that happen in 2024 with light effects that cause big bright or black blobs to appear where the light effects are positioned - those are to be fixed in SU3 - possibly :). But we're helping Asobo out with everything - and that takes time!

Hope that answers you!
