They gonna switch to A330, then someone else will release an A330... what then, A340 just for good measure?

Think of the economics of what you're proposing - where the hell does the income come from if they scrap the work they're doing on the two NEO aircraft and start from scratch with the A330?  How long can they keep everyone employed with no products to sell?

to be fair..they scrapped the work carried out on the p3d NEO..they must have had it all but ready in the 12 months or so when they announced the NEO's and A330 for P3D..so on that i don't think wasting resources is a problem..i know they said that the support etc wasn't worth it at the time..BUT i know there's quite a number gone back to P3D because of all the problems with ASOBO/Microsoft

But ASOBO, it’s good now ! And we have X-plane too.

Eu tenho o msfs2024... ou melhor, tinha... ele foi removido e não será reinstalado até que saia da versão beta e seja o produto finalizado... fslabs não fazem xplane

Yes I Know, I have fs2020 and fs2024, now fslab have only fs2020. So wait :)

The recent Navigraph survey would seem to indicate otherwise ...

Mas ASOBO, está bom agora! E temos o X-plane também.

The installer is the Control Centre - the product isn't in your account yet for it to show there however...  Hence Norman's comment about you already having the installer.

So if I were the Easter Bunny, I would of course release this today.

Norman, why is it taking so long to launch the Neo? I hope it comes with two engine variants.

Well well you will see and learn that asking all the times won´t speed up things.

FS Labs will take all the time they need to deliver a fs labs product we deserve...

better stop asking all the time, norman has to focus on the product....

You will learn one thing here... that is "to be patient"...

Waiting for its release in 2024 is more painful than keeping up with beta updates of the Inibuilds A350...

Hi, interested in an fslabs for msfs. Just curious if someone know if the neo will come as a msfs 2020 and 2024 version for a single price, because currently im using 2020, but tend to switch to 2024 after a while and dont want to buy the airplane again. So i tend to buy the 321 ceo now to get both versions with a single purchase, but if the neos will be the same. I will wait for them instead. Thanks

Hi Carsten,

The NEO follows the same model - it will be for both sims.

The plan at the moment is to put one under each wing but we are open to suggestions. :P

Whilst we decide, here is one with the "No Engine Option"

Cute… or rather it would be if FS Labs more-than-rarely provided actually substantial answers and updates to its customers.

It’s only fun if you actually take seriously the genuine interest of those who support your work...

I agree. How much does it cost developers to update their customers on the progress of the project and the intentions for the release? They keep creating mystery and when they do talk, they use a picture of a plane without an engine.

Concordo. Quanto custa aos desenvolvedores atualizar seus clientes sobre o andamento do projeto e as intenções de lançamento? Eles continuam criando mistério e, quando falam, usam a imagem de um avião sem motor.

It’s true…. Sad but true…

Well, its annoying for busy developers working on such a hard project to keep receiving such questions all the time. Good things take time. It cannot be done from one day to another.

Bem, é irritante para desenvolvedores ocupados trabalhando em um projeto tão difícil receberem perguntas como essa o tempo todo. Coisas boas levam tempo. Não podem ser feitas de um dia para o outro.

One day I asked the same thing, and they told me they were testing it. Today I found out it doesn't have an engine. I'd say a real answer is sufficient, not a picture of a plane without an engine. ;)

As another poster already mentioned, they scrapped work on the NEO's for P3D and transitioned them to MSFS. Not really a waste of resources, really just prudent. If they didn't do the same with the A330 then they really are out to lunch. Not really sure how you can argue that.  And either way, this is exactly why it might be nice of them to provide an update. It's only been several years since they announced the A330....

I am also following this quite closely - I am wondering whether they are also including the LR variants in this.
