Joel Raza Posted Monday at 06:53 AM Posted Monday at 06:53 AM I was streaming the Weather Radar functionality today and noticed that it looks quite different from the one integrated into the default aircraft in MSFS 2020 or even the one PMDG uses in their aircraft. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but yours seems more accurate and displays weather patterns a bit differently. Is this based on the sim’s integrated radar, or is it something you developed or modified yourselves? Will the tilt function be available in the future? Great job on this patch—I had a lot of fun testing it out! https://www.youtube.com/live/CNxeCG2PPPQ?si=FuO5cSOIQ6MoyXZ4 Quote
Sabine Meier Posted Monday at 08:24 AM Posted Monday at 08:24 AM Pmdg only shows an image while fslabs is a bit more developed. Manual tilt requires something that the sim doesn't give access to. A fully open weather engine. Quote
Peter Fabian Posted Monday at 11:54 AM Posted Monday at 11:54 AM My understanding of the update blob is that FSL worked with Asobo to get data from weather engine and are creating the returns themselves. Quote

Why would a tilt function require a ‘fully open weather engine’? Quote
