[Resolved] v11.0.1.292 Update - Winwing Compatibility?

Following the announcement today of Update v11.0.1.292, Lefteris says "our code has been expanded to work seamlessly with popular systems like WinWing, MiniCockpit, WingFlex, and more...."

Does this mean that the A321ceo will now work with Simapp Pro? Having enjoyed the FSLabs A320 in P3d immensely, compatibility with my WinWing FCU is the only thing holding me back from buying this to replace my Fenix :-)

Hi Luke,

WinWing hardware is currently compatible via Mobiflight and Spad.net - SimAppPro update is down to WinWing, and we have provided everything they need to do so!

Dunc

Thanks for your reply Duncan. I'm hoping that they can update SimApp soon then, as I really don't fancy spending hours tinkering with Spad to get it all working!
As for Mobiflight... I haven;t ever even seen it, let alone used it!

I believe there is a profile setup to go for the FCU in Spad.next but I do totally understand.

I hope it's not long either; The Interface information was delivered before Christmas, so It shouldn't be too long.

Yeah...I've made a so-called snipped that can be reused. It's only for the FCU and the left EFIS as I don't own the right one. But it also reflects power-state and so on. So it should give the idea how it works.

Give it a try. Its free and easy to use. To use winwing profiles you only need to check beta in settings.

Load any profile for ftsim.to (many aircrafts available already) - fire and forget :)

Hello,

I imagine that the MCDU will also be compatible? I hesitate to give it to myself.

Ah great - thanks Andreas :-) What is your user name for Spad snippets? Will I find your FCU/EFIS profile there?

Cheers,

Luke

Seems like FCU and EFIS are working with simapppro, but i cannot get the MCDU to work with it. The display lights up and stuff, and looks like it would work. But none of the buttons on the mcdu are working for it

Same to me. All hardware and sofwtare are updated. FCU+EFIS works fine.

Hi all! I am looking into buying the A321neo. I own the FCU+EFIS and MCDU from winwing, are all of them compatible with FSLabs already?

All my bits (MCDU, FCU, EFIS) worked first time. Make sure your firmware and SimAppPro are up to date.

Hi Alexander,

Do I understand you right?
Does WinWing MCDU, FCU, EFIS + SimAppPro work with FSLabs A320 for P3D V5.x ?

Kind regards,
Edward

Not at present, no. Hardware compatibility is unique to our MSFS products at this juncture. P3D compatibility may be considered at a later date depending on development priorities

I have an issue with the Winwing FCU and knob acceleration, one fast full rotation of HDG knob is only approx 10 degrees. So in order to turn lets say 90 degrees I have to turn HDG almost 9 times. Same issue with Speed.

Default Simapppro and in FSLabs settings I have FCU knob acceleration ON. Currently acceleration only works with mouse wheel. Any advice on how to fix it ?

That means SimAppPro supports P3D. Our hardware support in P3D at present is focused towards Skalarki products and uses a different business model.

No idea about P3D. The original question was related to MSFS.

 Hi Alexander,

Sorry but doesn't the original question from Luke Hall revere to Prepar3d? He wrote:

I am pretty sure that SimAppPro supports both the CEO and the NEO.  I run the Neo with the FCU, EFIS and MCDU without a problem.

Given the developer mentioned, it's clear his question revolved around MSFS

Not at all. Luke refers to the FSLabs addon version related to MSFS, also talking about replacing Fenix A32x addon (which has never been made for P3D but for MSFS only).
