Matt Schmalz Posted January 10, 2025 Posted January 10, 2025 Hi everyone, I'm strongly considering the FS Labs A321, primarily because of features like the MEL. I may be in the minority, but if things can't go wrong simming just isn't as interesting for me . With that mind, I do have a few questions that hopefully people here can help me with: 1. I believe I found that panel state saving between flights is an option, can someone please confirm? 2. For failures, do they persist between flights? As an example, if something failed (like the APU as an example) and wasn't detected on a flight for whatever reason, would that persist to the next? 3. Can failures cause other failures? As an example, would an oil leak later cause an engine to fail? 4. Without providing an exhaustive list (unless someone wants to... I'd take it haha), how many failures are modeled roughly, and do they cover all major systems? 5. For the ice accumulation feature, is this purely cosmetic or will it impact flight or systems in any way? 6. Any war stories you can share about flights that went, well, not as expected as a result of the failure system? Thanks in advance! 1 Quote

There is a tech log that keeps track of all issues during the flight. Quote

But yes, there’s a panel state save feature. Just yesterday I had a forward lav fire detector alarm go off. Really adds to the immersion. Quote
Brad Zimmer Posted January 18, 2025 Posted January 18, 2025 I have a question (sorry if this was asked). If you buy the 2020 version, will that be a free upgrade when 2024 comes out? Quote

ArslanTuregun Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Hi there. I have a "neo" question. When it comes will it be a standalone purchase or will it require the ceo as a base? Cheers, Arslan Quote

Rodrigo Andres Jipoulou Saez Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Hello fslabs team, your a320ceo is fantastic, but I have 2 questions, the first is how long will it take to launch the a320neo? and the second, will the a320 neo come with the Pratt & Whitiney and CFM-LEAP engines Quote
Rodrigo Andres Jipoulou Saez Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 What condition is your a330 in? And what variants will they develop? Do you plan to make the A340 family? Quote

You sure Norman cause the neo does have some improved engines and some engines that are consistently in maintenance so I guess it evens out? Quote

As in the plane launches Sabine. Not the speed of the engine. Its a given we are very particular about things like the time an engine starts. Quote
Rodrigo Andres Jipoulou Saez Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Do you plan to launch the entire a320ceo and neo family Quote
Rodrigo Andres Jipoulou Saez Posted February 7, 2025 Posted February 7, 2025 Will you make the whole neo family? a319neo, a320neo and a321neo Quote
riccardo74 Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 Hi, I'd like to purchase A321 neo for FS2020, does it have the panel state save feature? Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote

riccardo74 Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 Great news! This is a big lack on Fenix and a must have feature I appreciate very much like on all PMDG, specially on 777 for long haul flights. Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
Norman Blackburn Posted June 30, 2025 Posted June 30, 2025 We also have a great tool called Jump Ahead. You know those times when your other half tells you of plans in 4 hours so you start a flight, only for them to say shortly after take off that its now 3 hours. At any stage - be that in the climb or cruise - or even descent, you can choose a way point somewhere in the future and teleport there instantly. You can even decide to have keep or use the fuel you would have done. Want to be higher or lower? Again, no problems. Get to land and still have time to get ready for whatever they have planned. 2 Quote

riccardo74 Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 I suppose you can save a flight via MSFS2020 menu and then reload it? is it correct? Quote

Phillip Tengg Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 As a happy owner of the P3D A320, I can't browse the MSFS forums. But I am only 3 questions away from buying the MSFS Can the EFB be displayed on an external tablet? (like it can be done with the mCDU in P3D) Can the mCDU be displayed on an external tablet? Does the bus support WINWING products, like mCDU, FCU, ...? if any no: Is it planned for future updates? Thank you very much! Quote

Phillip Tengg Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Thank you for these good news! One last question about the EFB on external tablet (Android in my case): How is this provided? Is this a native feature to use the EFB on an external tablet, or is it done by using some remote screen software? Thank you! Quote
Norman Blackburn Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Hi Phillip, Simply open up your browser, type in the IP address of your FS machine - with a port number and a page, and you are in. Exactly the same as with your existing version. 1 Quote

Hi Norman, I cannot find a way to save a custom panel state in MSFS 2024 or in the MCDU. Only in MSFS 2020 saving a situation is possible. Can you please tell how it is possible in MSFS 2024 ??? Regards Hajo Quote
Hasan Günenç Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 I asked the same thing but I got no response since then. Could you please inform us ? ( I’m not talking about mcdu state save feature because it does not save the systems just some of the cocpit switches. When I choose save default state everything is refreshed such as mcdu and only some switches remains same. Quote
