I thought Concorde was next? There are already lots of competition for the airbusses, but not one high fidelity Concorde outside of P3D, when you released the Concorde in P3D we were told the MSFS version was but months away...

I think now it's time for the A320 in MSFS. I miss FSLabs there and I would appreciate an FSLabs Bus in MSFS

Where's your souce on most people having the Fenix A321? Do you have any sales data from Fenix?

I got the Fenix 321 while waiting for fslabs to rise from the grave

I hoped for Concorde to come first honestly :( hopefully it’s not long until it arrives for MSFS 2024 :)

Looking foreward to the A321 :)

I am really eager to see where the differences to previous versions are and what acheivements have been put into the MSFS Version! Needless to say it will be very interesting to see how the FSL version will differ from  the Fenix version and in which areas which plane excells.

Well said above and to add in for what you said above - for those who don't want high fidelity A320 - there is already a good freeware inibuilds a320 neo V2 which satisfies all parties.

Don't forget the freeware Fly-by-Wire aircraft.  When my Fenix bus was practically unflyable (before B2) I spent many happy hours in the A32NX

From the image, we can see that the L/DEV has finally appeared, which suggests that RNP AR flights may now be achievable. Additionally, there seem to have been significant avionics upgrades, such as the FOB BELOW 3T notification. The textures and modeling also appear to have received substantial improvements. Most importantly, after flying both the P3D FSL and MSFS2020 alternatives, I remain convinced that FSL is currently the best aircraft available, offering unparalleled accuracy in controls, avionics logic, a highly realistic flight model, and more. Thus, even though I already own "some products", I’m still willing to purchase such an outstanding product.

Could agree more Isaac ! However , the FOB below 3T is a feature on the 321 which is also there on the current 321 versions at least in the SL . Having said that , I am now eagerly waiting for fslabs to release their mfs extension of the wonderful 320 family .

I was going to buy the offerings from the completion but something in my mind told me to “hold off “ and told me to just wait , and guess what my intuition was correct .

@Lefteris Kalamaras please make the announcement ASAP 🫢

FOB below 3 T was Already in P3D

FOB 低于 3 T 已处于 P3D 状态

我暂时没有留意,可能我日常飞行中还没碰到过FOB低于3吨的情况吧。

Looking back it is easy to say what people should or shouldn’t have done. We have to welcome the plane, and rather than thinking “another airbus with more or less the same things” we have to welcome the “fslabs signature features” it may have. Remember,  no none knew what hoppie was until fslabs put it on their planes… look now) . This will force other developers step up the game on their end, and we will be the beneficiaries of that.

Welcome back malakas!!!! ;)

Well put it this way - for VA I fly for, Almost 99% of people fly the Fenix and there are more then 800 members in there, that just VA fly for, imagine 100s several other VAs as well other people who fly outside of VA. Then there other people like streamers and what not. The number is huge. Almost any serious flight simmer or be causal player in MSFS has Fenix. Have a look at Navigraph survey from last year - Fenix ranks second after PMDG in most preferred addon in flight sim community.

Anyone who owns MSFS knows Fenix is the top contender when it comes to Airbus.

Well, I understand your concern. But they're different animals for different things. FSLabs, by far, is the best there is. And that's a fact. As soon as it arrives, a huge amount of Fenix users will surely be attracted. I bet that in a short time FSLabs will conquer the second position in this most preferred list, if not the first. It's the most advanced simulation of a comercial jet ever built in a software.

Don't worry. Most VA's have a lot of people looking for study level planes to use.

It will really depend on what Fslabs has to offer - In order for people to make switch from other developer it will need to stand out massively. That is why I stand by to what I said earlier - A321 Neo would have been absolutely spot on in this situation, there are no complex Neos in sim presently so Neos would give Fslabs some edge. I think that actual package might also includes neos option (my theory anyway) but we will have to wait for official announcement to be made.

FBW A320 neo is very good for what it does and myself also have countless hours on it. Although I still wouldn't mind a new complex A320/A321 Neos.

I always liked the little things that made the FSL Buses just a bit more complete - the video camera looking at the other side of the cockpit door and being able to see it in the lower central display.  The weather radar and big splodges of yellow and red in the PFDs showing storm clouds to avoid, the pre-loaded original cabin announcements with each livery - it goes on....

The Fenix has always just been a stop-gap for me !

Both are just not possible with MSFS2020, not sure also about 2024.

But doesn'T the PMDG 737 have a (somewhat) working weather radar despite it being MSFS2020?

It's a standard radar image shared between all the planes, you can't get a custom one using MSFS weather data, so no cool stuff specific to the Airbus family.

Seems to be an issue between MeteoBlue and Microsoft/Asobo

Well, video camera output is a jpeg picture, like on the CRJ, not an actual real time view of what's happening, GSX cabin load or tail view for taxi for exemple.

As for the weather radar, I would be interested to know where did you see a custom one, not the one made/improved by Working Title which can be used by all the other aircrafts if devs want it and using MSFS/meteoblue weather data, not active sky.

Posted

I don't see why the video camera couldn't work - in the Fenix, I can turn around in my pilot flying seat, look through the open doorway and see GSX loading my passengers in real time.  Fenix does model the whole cabin but then so might FSL for MSFS - we shall have to wait and see.

As someone has said above - good to see the forum coming to life again.

Well they said never before seen in a sim. They must have something next level that's why it took this long and didn't say anything publicly. Hopefully they move everything to MSFS2024 because MSFS2020 already being left behind by one dev (iniBuilds)

Got the info from PMDG about the 777 and the MSFS/Asobo team during a Q&A, with MSFS2020 it's just not possible, that's an engine limitation

The Got Friends Arrow Elvira Optica for MSFS 2024 has an external camera with screen in the cockpit; so you’re quite right - not in 2020. However, as this is a stock aircraft the api will be available for all developers to use.

The WXR in 2020 is really rather good imo. It wasn’t made by WT, it’s Asobo’s creation. They provide the api. It detects a 3D cone of precipitation ahead of the aircraft. It has adjustable range. It’s not a ‘cloud detector’ as some claim and is available for devs to build what they want with it.

The main problem in 2020 is not the WXR as such but that the weather it detects is actually no threat to the aircraft.

I am not sure if it's a true external camera or more like a synthetic vision like on the G1/3000 for exemple, the rendering is not the same.

Agree, I am glad the weather will be improved in 2024 and they will keep working on it

The issue I have with the stock radar is that we will not get something like that

Looks like it . Would of been nice for a status update .

I'm hoping fslabs leaked 321 CEO is hiding a NEO release as well . Both for 2024 .

Maybe.  Until someone from FSL contributes, I'll stick with months.

Perhaps they are waiting for MSFS2024 release and may skip 2020 all together.

I don’t think so. Microsoft has not give the SDK to any developer so this will take Months

This is not true. SDK is available to all Marketplace devs.
