Jan Willemsen Posted December 11 Posted December 11 First of all, congrats for the release of the 321 and good to finally have you on MSFS! Already planning to update my home cockpit Nice to finally have a wider range of failures available for training; and also the opportunity to select them via the EFB However some are still missing (eg. AC ESS BUS Fail, Rapid decompression or EXCESS CAB ALT). Also it would be great to get a function to set "direct law" instantly to train flying with that without having to change the planes configuration. Also a search function for failures would be a great addition in order to avoid searching (like the Fenix does) Im fully aware that after the release you're very busy supporting all initial bugs and I know you already have the nex projects lined up (#neo). But that would be some nice additions to this already great product...some time in the future 1 Quote
Philipp Schwaegerl Posted December 11 Posted December 11 To be honest, I’m very curious about the A321 from FSL. However, I’d like to know if there will be an upgrade price for the A321 NEO. If not, I’ll wait for the NEO. Quote

Those who purchase the 321ceo (until NEO release) will get a discount on this price. But this offer is just valid until NEO release.... Quote
Robert Sutherland Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Big congrats to the FSL team for a successful release. I'm yet to actually fly the plane, but am hoping I can get it up in the air this evening 2 Quote
Sotirios Aligiannis Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Congrats on the release. Just a quick question before the purchase: are there any liveries available for it included? or provided separately? Quote

Alexey Vetrov Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Who can tell you how to turn on the EFB? Immediately after installation, it worked, but from the second launch it was always turned off, I did not find any click zones to turn on, nothing was said in the manual either. Quote

Anton Kobu Posted December 11 Posted December 11 Speaking of the website, it seems to be inaccessible for me for some reason. I only see an overlay with a loading indicator on various browsers. I even tried accessing it on another PC, but the issue persists. I suspect this might be due to my current location (Russia). However, using a VPN didn’t help either Here’s the console error I’m seeing: Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://flightsimlabs.onfastspring.com/popup-flightsimlabs/builder. (Reason: CORS header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ missing). Status code: 403. Has anyone faced this issue recently? Quote

koray cabbar suna Posted December 11 Posted December 11 I just bought the A321 plane. It gives an error while installing the launcher application. cannot locate any installed Flight simulators. Any solution? Quote
Joshua Scott Posted December 11 Posted December 11 My honest review so far. From the outside the model looks good, although the windows look very odd especially around the cockpit area, i noticed this in the screenshots on the website prior to purchase but it is really noticeable in the sim. The cockpit itself the textures are ok but nothing to write home about. The systems seem good including how smooth the MCDU is but a number of bugs have been discovered already including that of the tablet randomly turning off never to be seen again unless you re-start the sim as well as the painful process of calibrating the throttles, i have never seen something so jarring to use when trying to calibrate the throttles. The sounds are ok but clearly ported over from P3D, they are sounding a bit muffled and sub par compared to what we are used to in other aircraft as well as the fact there is no cabin, which we was aware of prior to purchase. It seems to me FSL only went for the 321 as they wanted to beat competitors to market but sadly didn't and have since then rushed a release which has left the product where we are today which is such a shame to see. What i will say however is the tech log, documentation and the failures / outside sounds are all really nice. Looking forward to seeing what happens in future updates but for now, its back in the hangar. Oh and please please fix the hold issue you have been aware of since P3D thats somehow found its way into this rendition of the aircraft. 4 Quote

How is this an issue? It literally took me 30 seconds. You input the range of values for each indent. Moving your throttle moves the numerical value listed on the top right. Sorry, I don't understand how anyone perceives this as difficult. 1 Quote

Klaus Schmitzer Posted December 13 Posted December 13 How easy is it to setup the button controls via Axis and ohs? Is there a way to get lvars for all the buttons and dials? Thank you! Quote
Trevor Hannant Posted December 13 Posted December 13 Most of them are Rotor Brake codes however you can find most in: fsl-common\FSLabs\EFB\FileSystem\SimObjects\Airplanes\FSLabs A321 CFM\Model\FSLA32X_Interior.xml I use SPAD rather than A&O and the Event Viewer should also show them OK as you press IF A&O has something similar... I've got my StreamDeck now setup and working (other than a couple) for all the "Ops Normal" Overhead buttons and Transponder functions using them. Quote

Trevor Hannant Posted December 13 Posted December 13 If you look at the file I linked and take the following code for example: <PartInfo> <Name>VC_OVHD_EXTLT_RwyTurnoff_Switch</Name> <AnimLength>10</AnimLength> <Animation> <Parameter> <Code>(L:VC_OVHD_EXTLT_RwyTurnoff_Switch,percent) 1 *</Code> </Parameter> </Animation> <MouseRect> <Cursor>Hand</Cursor> <TooltipText>RwyTurnoff Light Switch</TooltipText> <MouseFlags>LeftSingle+RightSingle+LeftRelease+RightRelease</MouseFlags> <CallbackCode> (M:Event) 'LeftSingle' scmp == if{ 72491 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) } (M:Event) 'RightSingle' scmp == if{ 72492 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) } (M:Event) 'LeftRelease' scmp == if{ 72493 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) } (M:Event) 'RightRelease' scmp == if{ 72494 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) } </CallbackCode> </MouseRect> </PartInfo> This is for the Runway Turnoff Switch on the Overhead. On my Streamdeck, I have it set so that a short push turns it on and a long push turns it off. So, I need to send events that simulate a mouse click. As a right click turns it on, I set the following code for this: ROTOR_BRAKE (72492) (short pause) ROTOR_BRAKE (72494) If you look at the numbers, the first simulates a right click, the second releasing that button. So that flicks the switch on. Conversely, to turn off, I use Left click and release. In SPAD, it looks like this: I then have conditional events to read LVARs that ARE there to determine the switch position and set the image accordingly. Obviously things in A&O will be written differently but the same event IDs will be used to fire off the relevant command to the aircraft. Quote
Matt Crick Posted December 13 Posted December 13 As a reminder Gentlemen, if support topics could be directed to the appropriate sub-forum it would be appreciated. A topic of conversation around rotorbrake codes would be better had in it's own thread in the Joystick & Peripheral forum where it can be better preserved for posterity. With thanks 1 Quote
