Will there be an instructor's station to trigger failures in the EFB, preferably remotely via an Android tablet or iPad?

So to create something like an FAQ

  • When will release be?

When it's ready - but users will be pleasantly surprised (I believe it was said like that. Lefteris wasn't initially that easy to be understood in BBs stream)-

  • Will the NEO be a standalone product?

Yes. Users can still by the NEO only as it releases.

  • Will there be a discount for previous owner of products (FSX/P3D)

No. However, the 2024 version will be a free upgrade and customers of the A321 CEO for MSFS will receive a discount for the NEO after its release.

  • What features will it have?

Basically everything from P3D and more such as a Techlog, GPS Jamming, MCDU, interactions with FA (e.g. smoke in lavatory and when you call them they will come after a while and talk to you), and EFB integration of GSX (so that one does not have to use the GSX popup) and other stuff

  • Can one use the thermal printer?

Yes, it can still be used.

  • What about the Concorde?

The Concorde is the family favorite and they didn't forget about it. As it's their favorite child it will come to MSFS if they are satisfied with it.

  • What about the other planes of the 320 family?

They will come.

  • Will there be EIS1?

As of right now, no. At least not with release.

  • Is there going to be P2F?

That is still internally discussed at dev level.

  • What about LR and XLR?

LR and XLR are not planned at tthe moment. For long range they focus on wide body.

  • What version is being simulated?

S7 with a bit more features.

  • How many failures are included?

P3D were 70-75ish failures modeled, now it is 300+.

  • Will there be a wx radar?

Not initially. They could have gone for the 2D projection MSFS provides, but as they have a focus on realism they weren't satisfied as they would have liked a 3D projection.

  • Is it going to be released for XBOX or the Marketplace?

No.

  • Will it be available for MSFS 2024?

Yes, at a later date with a free upgrade for existing customers.

  • What about an official Discord server?

That is being discussed

I can't remember anything else of value that had been asked but you can ask it here and I can expand this FAQ. Additionally, info I wrote here could be wrong as I admittedly didn't always pay attention.

Will it support the HW Interface for Skalarki products as does the P3D version?

Some of us have a lot of money invested in all the associated licenses.  I recently switched to the even more expensive Pro-Sim because it has supported MSFS.  I’d seriously look at coming back to FSL if - but only if - it still worked with the hardware interface and allowed removal of the virtual cockpit to have only an outside view from the captains perspective.  My reason for switching in that case would be that I would expect FSL to have a bit better “fit and finish” with MSFS than Pro-Sim. does.  The remaining negative would be lack of support for a multi-PC setup, but I could probably live with that, even if it’s not ideal.

Looking very cool. Most likely going to give this a go. Hopefully releases soon :)

Having a WX Radar would be a valuable addition, especially since Fenix lacks support for it due to the rendering techniques they use.

It feels like a missed opportunity to stand out in a saturated market.

While I understand the limitations of the default radar, its inclusion significantly enhances immersion for me.

why do people say its a saturated market? Its Fenix and that's it. We now have FSLabs. There's literally 2. iniBuilds planes made for Microsoft are mid and they dont compete.

Many of our testers use our product with Skalarki including one with a single seat and one with a full setup.    We anticipate having more information on this soon.

Quick question re the A321. We know sound packs for passenger anouncements will be built in again. Will they be the same format as the P3D version as in we can utilise the vast database already downloadable for the P3D version until updated packs are made within the community?

Cheers

Waiting patiently for release

You will be pleased to know that we have utilised the same format.

Could you include the questions:

Will there be the abilty to remove the virtual cockpit from the (multimonitor) outside view?

Will there be the ability to undock "just the screens" for ISIS, MCDU and DCDU?

I remember someone asking that but cant remember the answers. I hope some dev can reply to it so I can add it

next 2 days or a week.  That's why you don't  give deadlines.

The GSX integration looks the best of any aircraft I've seen. Looks like it can all be done via EFB/MCDU, so no need for GSX menus.

No need to touch the EFB for GSX to do its thing! You operate the aircraft normally and send certain info to ground operators via datalink... that's all. There was a slight misunderstanding on BB's stream about certain GSX elements so that this didn't come through in all its automated glory :)

I currently work in cyber security and i purchased the FSlabs product in 2019 not knowing the issues that had occurred in the past. I know this post will get deleted and my account probably banned but from an Information Security standpoint, what was done via the password tracer programme was pure evil against customers. I am extremely surprised that this company still exists, anyway good luck to the folks who hope to purchase this product for MSFS, hopefully your sensitive data doesn't end up on the dark web!

Adios

My sensitive data "is" already on the dark web due to numerous security incidents with software/websites and other related informations.

So them having it makes no difference as it already is - and I am sure yours is - or at least was - too. Who knows how much data has already been in circulation online of us that we don't even know about.

Also, I don't know why you think you would get banned - especially since I am certain that at least 95% (if not everybody) on here knows what happened in the past due to everybody being a FSX/P3D customer according to the forums signature.

Don't get me wrong, your point is valid, but it doesn't mean that nobody knows about it.

Having to this day to read the community's for a large part manufactured outrage, I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweat and wonder whether there's something wrong with me if I couldn't care less even as the incident occurred.

LOL *sarcasm on* for sure buying the FSLabs will deliver all our "sensitive" data to the dark web. *sarcasm off*

Everyone is responsible for protecting their own sensitive data and when I look at how many people don't even use proper virus protection, or firewall... and even if its only "passwords"... everyone who still not using a 2 factor authentication on really sensitive accounts... yeah is your own fault...

Definitely a point which was not ok in the PAST but it was in the PAST and they did excuse for it and tbh... anyone who is downloading illegal stuff, its their own fault if their machines get infected by any malicious stuff.

Again, it was a mistake in the past. Bringing up all the old topics again and again and again.... for what reason?
To just creating a negative effect on a gorgeous product from enthusiastic developers?

Two reasons!

1. Lefteris may be celebrating his name day due to his Greek heritage.
2. Concorde was released the 15th.

…. All speculation on my end for some fun.

If you paid for it, you had nothing to worry about.  Neither did any legitimate customers.  I'm guessing you're not on FB if you are so concerned about the security of your data.

To be fair, the action itself was very wrong on several levels, regardless if you were a legitimate user or not. It's just that people attribute to it way more malicious intent than is justified.

Yeah I must admit I'm getting fed up of people who've either never owned the FSL Airbus, or are just jumping on the bandwagon because it's fashionable to do so among certain community circles, declaring how awful the company is.

OK it wasn't the best move, but I feel more shafted by the likes of FB and other companies who manipulate their T&Cs in an attempt to trick you in to giving up your data. It's annoying, but I don't go around crying boycott. I do like the Fenix and it's close to having a full suite of features, but that's its problem. Close isn't good enough when you've used the FSL Airbus. I've spent years hoping they bring the A32x to MSFS because I've missed all these little things that went above and beyond which no developer has managed to replicate on their platform.

Go and fire up an IAE on the MSFS competition and then do the same with an FSL Airbus in P3D. The difference is like night and day in every aspect. The sounds and startup sequence don't come close. I remember promptly hitting Alt+F4 in disappointment when I was accelerating down the runway when the much awaited IAE update came out on the Fenix. It's good, but FSL spoiled us and I'm really not interested in those who claim the textures aren't up to par with the competition. Give them time and they'll probably improve!

I was late to the party with the FSL offering, so I knew about what had happened but at the same time I was in complete awe at what I was seeing and hearing. Humans aren't infallible and we all make mistakes. I'm sure they're aware of their past mistakes, and for those saying they did it once so will *definitely* do it again... Well they're just spouting out nonsense in the hope of a brief dopamine hit from the likes they'll get from like minded doomsayers.

I'm certain the business minded side of the company know that the enough of us are willing to forgive and give them a second chance alongside the potential consequences of going down that avenue again. So I'm going to buy their products with confidence and get back to enjoying something that's been missing from the MSFS hangar for far too long. Just my 2p worth.

I dont care where you work and neither working as cybersecurity doesnt make it more credible. I my country that is called difamation specially without any proof, only with the information that other people gave you on internet. If you are so convinced and has the proof , go to the courts and expose everything that you have , but dont come here with your shit and spread it here.

The telling thing here is Lefteris has clearly seen the post and chosen to ignore it by responding to an unrelated post afterwards.  People talk about jumping on the bandwagon around it - then jump on the bandwagon proverbially shouting someone down about jumping on the bandwagon!  All the poster will do is go back somewhere else and say "the FSL fanboys all rounded on me as expected" - so let's not!

Everyone should take a leaf out of Lefteris' book and just ignore them, move on and talk up what is going to be an outstanding product in the sim.  Don't waste any more keyboard wear on these people as all they're looking for is to start a fire and let everyone fan the flames with numerous replies.

And with that - when's the bloody thing coming out?!   :D
