You were the last product released by FSLabs. We have been waiting for the Neo and MSFS compatibility. Think it is only fair.

You get the scraps only if you support the platform that gives you (and third-party developers) the scraps.

Now, about that A321neo, hopefully "shortly" is meant literally and not metaphorically.

Door is still open to convince me to get the ceo, but the bar is higher there.

You are just not that important, deal with it.

so you never had p3d??..i take it you've been bumbling along on fsx or fs2000 for the last 16 years with crappy 32bit graphics etc i was a late adopter to p3d..got v4 and the FSLabs A320 followed me on a free upgrade..no software anywhere in the world is perfect on release..msfs2020 is still buggy..2024 is a totally new release..as is the fslabs A321ceo..there will be patches en route to both sets of software i'm sure of it..but for you to come on here and start to put everyone and their choice of software really says a lot about you..even more so when looking at your profile YOU haven't even purchased 1 single product yet..so how are you even qualified to comment on something you haven't got..i have been a customer of FSLabs for at least 15 years..and i know what they're about and also know they're MO

If it was just after the A321 CEO and NEO, that wouldn't bothered me, but he said after the Airbus line, so most likely after the 319-321 C/N, perhaps even after the A330 family.

It is not to play down the importance of Concorde. But to hear it on every post is just frustrating. I am well aware that you guys are waiting for your aircraft. As a consequence of Concorde being released to P3D it delayed the A320 coming to MSFS.

I think it is a shame but I personally feel that the Concorde is more niche than the airbus. So, this will help get FSLabs established on the MSFS platform and then can do the passion project of Concorde

Was this said in the livestream? Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

PS: Incidentally, this was my first simulator, for some of the younger kids making hilarious assumptions. o7

Looking forward to hearing more about the neo for MSFS

Reason why A321 was the first aircraft for MSFS? Its was the last plane in P3D so they continued with it in MSFS.

thats where you're wrong Lazo..the last plane for P3D was concorde..the last ones in the airbus series were the A320/21 sharklets

Sorry to save Steve, but unfortunately MSFS is a complete different kettle of fish. FSLabs has put 4 years into redeveloping the aircraft so, to expect a free or discounted upgrade is unrealistic.

I recently switched to MSFS and had to buy all my scenery’s and addons again. If developers gave us endless updates for free after all the work they put in - they would go broke.

The price for the A321 is considerably lower than previous to be more competitive, so that in itself is a discount. Addon developers outside of FSLabs have charged for their products for MSFS again.

thats a shame..i personally got the free upgrade from fsx to p3d and upwards to v5.4 what i'm on now..and also a lot with the licenses for skalarki hardware..i have no desire to be moving personally..just hope against hope the NEO's will be released as a last thank you to all the p3d users who have supported them through the last 16 years

many thanks

Not really a specific one, more like what are all the function, extra stuff the FSL version is doing better or newer than the current MSFS competitor.

By what ive seen in the streaming the aerodynamics are better ,no more floatty landings ,  better fidelity in system dpeth , soft cruise implemented , very accurate vnav  i havent seen any differences to the real one , at least on the p3d , im sure its the same in 2020 or a bit coded , better drag that matches  to the real one etc.... fenix in this topic is very far away

Thank you to the team.

It was nice to watch a bit of the FSL A321 CEO for MSFS2020 in the stream yesterday.

Iam looking forward for the release and will buy it (of course)

PS: .... soon on 6th Dezember is St. Nicholas... and I really need something for my shoe... like a homepage from my fav. aircraft developer with a "buy" button ;);)

I really hope its before 6th :D
The Aircraft looks so nice and finished already in the Streams yesterday!
The GSX integration is again gorgeous!

I would really accept a "not so polished" aircraft to get my hands on and get updates for it after release but tbh. as I mentioned, it looks really finished. I think no Bugs (except the Windshield ones *haha*) what we "casual" user will get notice of if its released in this state.

What I was really wondering, why are there GSX Pax already sitting in the plane?
Has Umberto, the GSX Dev already his hands on this plane because I can remember that he needs to modify something on his end that this works.

A question I was not able to see yesterday: Is the Cockpit Door animated and working (open/close) with Door logic (Lock/unlock)? I just ask because the animated Pax in the Cabin are having a huge FPS impact and on the Fenix one, the Pax disappear if you close the Cockpit Door, and appear if you open the Cockpit door which is really nice because in flight you do not need to see the people in the cabine :)

So to create something like an FAQ

  • When will release be?

When it's ready - but users will be pleasantly surprised (I believe it was said like that. Lefteris wasn't initially that easy to be understood in BBs stream)-

  • Will the NEO be a standalone product?

Yes. Users can still by the NEO only as it releases.

  • Will there be a discount for previous owner of products (FSX/P3D)

No. However, the 2024 version will be a free upgrade and customers of the A321 CEO for MSFS will receive a discount for the NEO after its release.

  • What features will it have?

Basically everything from P3D and more such as a Techlog, GPS Jamming, MCDU, interactions with FA (e.g. smoke in lavatory and when you call them they will come after a while and talk to you), and EFB/MCDU integration of GSX (so that one does not have to use the GSX popup or the EFB under normal conditions in that regard) and other stuff.

  • Can one use the thermal printer?

Yes, it can still be used.

  • Any information about Skalarki Hardware?

They anticipate they will have more information regarding that soon. Products are already in the hand of testers.

  • Will Winwing products be supported?

Not yet, but they are doing their best to accomodate everybody.

  • What about the Concorde?

The Concorde is the family favorite and they didn't forget about it. As it's their favorite child it will come to MSFS if they are satisfied with it.

  • What about the other planes of the 320 family?

They will come.

  • Will there be EIS1?

As of right now, no. At least not with release.

  • Is there going to be P2F?

That is still internally discussed at dev level.

  • What about LR and XLR?

LR and XLR are not planned at tthe moment. For long range they focus on wide body.

  • What version is being simulated?

S7 with a bit more features.

  • How many failures are included?

P3D were 70-75ish failures modeled, now it is 300+.

  • Will there be a wx radar?

Not initially. They could have gone for the 2D projection MSFS provides, but as they have a focus on realism they weren't satisfied as they would have liked a 3D projection.

  • Is it going to be released for XBOX or the Marketplace?

No.

  • Will it be available for MSFS 2024?

Yes, at a later date with a free upgrade for existing customers.

  • What about an official Discord server?

That is being discussed.

  • Any other information?

Things, such as airframe configs or PAX announcements have the same format as in P3D so one could use the P3D files for MSFS.

I can't remember anything else of value that had been asked but you can ask it here and I can expand this FAQ. Additionally, info I wrote here could be wrong as I admittedly didn't always pay attention.

The GSX integration looks the best of any aircraft I've seen. Looks like it can all be done via EFB/MCDU, so no need for GSX menus.

Also like the look of the jump ahead feature.

LR is the standard 321neo right now . The older neos with out ACF have gone out of production a while back … If not the XLR at least the LR should be developed .Almost all the airlines i can possibly think of use the LR as standard while its true that there are still a few standard 321neo(251N or 271N),the NX is just the standard now ..

@Norman Blackburn @Lefteris Kalamaras Please take this as a feedback .

the 321 series had the additional center tank in P3D. There was an option to have it installed or not if I remember correctly. I think its the same in MSFS.

Yeah , true but the LR has 2 ACTs which increases its range to about 4000nm … plus it has the ACF cabin which gives it the suffix NX
