A321 SL with base pack A320

Hi,

 

I have been gone in the Flightsim-world for a while and want to pick up the flying. I am now updating my A320 and A319 for P3D v4, however I wondered if I can buy the 321 Sharklet-edition, without purchasing the A321-pack? On the sharklet page, it is stated that you only need the A320 base pack. Can you buy the 321 sharklet version and that it will work with only the 320 pack?

Hello Mels,

That is correct.  The A321SL only requires the A320-X base.  Please note that without the A321-X you will only have SL fitted A321.

Thank you. Does the last line means that without the 321X, I'll only have the Sharklet fitted 321, without the functionalities and new features?

It means that the only 321 planes you will have will be the Sharklet fitted ones which are fitted with rhe features it has listed.  You will not have the wing tip fenced 321 to choose from.
