Oliver Mitchell Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Hi all, I'm considering getting a new monitor for my new PC which will be arriving soon. What are people's thoughts on getting a really large monitor (as in, a TV - I know you lose sharpness as TV's aren't as sharp). Let's say 70 inch? I've heard the immersion factor due to the peripheral vision is much greater, and the sense of speed etc is more apparent. However, I assume this would need to be 4K to maintain a decent image quality? Would you recommend a 32inch 4K or a 70inch (for example) 4K? Would text on the ECAM still be readable at 70 inches? For reference purposes, the build is an 10700k (will overclock) and RTX3080. Thanks, Oliver Mitchell. Quote
David Gray Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 I sit directly in front of my 43” 4k tv. Seems to be just about perfect. The bigger you go obviously decreases your ppi Quote
