Leslie Channell Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 For me the A320 AP does not do well in bad weather. Geneva (my destination) was surrounded in cells. I took manual control early and avoided some of the red, but with high terrain below it was challenging. Stopped on the taxiway to take the second pic, not a hope whilst landing it lol.

Don't expect the autopilot to do something that it won't do in real life. Real world, you wouldn't fly anywhere near that lot - and expect to hold at SAUNI to see if the conditions improved - or divert. 4
Leslie Channell Posted September 16, 2020 Author Posted September 16, 2020 Yes, that makes perfect sense. I will look at using the diversion next time. Made it through it by hand, but is was very hard work. Brilliantly modelled. Thanks.
