For me the A320 AP does not do well in bad weather.  Geneva (my destination) was surrounded in cells.  I took manual control early and avoided some of the red, but with high terrain below it was challenging.

Stopped on the taxiway to take the second pic, not a hope whilst landing it lol.

Don't expect the autopilot to do something that it won't do in real life. 

Real world, you wouldn't fly anywhere near that lot - and expect to hold at SAUNI to see if the conditions improved - or divert.

Yes, that makes perfect sense.  I will look at using the diversion next time.

Made it through it by hand, but is was very hard work.
