I've looked through all the settings available to me but I can't find anything that will change the date format from the US mm/dd/yy.

Would it be possible for the date format to be user-customisable please as the format dd/mm/yy is widely accepted in the UK and most of Europe. It does get very tiring having to continually convert to a different format.

this seems to be a setting only available through global forum preferences, not per-user (from what I've seen so far). If I find a solution for you, I'll let you know!

Thanks Lefteris. It's not hugely important but just helps when dates become an issue.
