Screen flickering in P3D

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was doing a flight from YMML-YSSY I've encountered this weird issue where the screen would constantly flicker and display black objects on the screen.

If I go outside of the cockpit the flickering stops and when I come back in the problems back.

I use ChasePlane BTW...

I recorded a footage but when I reviewed it the flickering wasn't recorded any ideas on this?

Do you have VSYNC and Triple Buffering enabled or disabled?

In the past I had a similair issue and turning those 2 on was the fix for me.

Oh!

Yes I do I did turn triple buffering on!

Maybe that was the culprit for me as well!

However, what does Triple Buffering do anyway?

Cheers,

James

Hello!

Click on the P3D icon, then properties -> compatibility. Make sure that the fullscreen optimazation is ticked. That solved it for me...

Let me know if it works.
