Hi all.

I finally got around to installing a new SSD for P3D, fun times ahead for the night now re-installing everything from the old one.

Looking for a little advice on a few questions.

1. Stick with V4.4 or upgrade to 4.5?

2. Should I re-install the A32X and all it's goodies as well?

3. Fresh install of everything else, ActiveSky, REX, AI etc?

Any help/pointers much appreciated.

1.  4.5 works for some, not for others.  LM is working on a hotfix.

2. and 3. Up to you, but you could clone the old drive to the new.

I think a clean fresh install as your doing 4.5 will be fine , and yes fresh install of all add-ons with latest updates  is the way to go.

@Tom Cunningham

Did you load a new Operating System on the new SSD. What model SSD did you install.

Hi Randy.

Not sure what you mean by the operating system, as in Windows 10? If so, no, that's on the main C drive.

I have my main P3D folder, and anything that can safely run outside of the P3D folder like scenery and weather programs.

As to the drive itself, got it on Amazon, Samsung MZ-76E1T0B/EU 1 TB 860 EVO Sata III 64L V NAND Solid State Drive

Got it for less that half the price than if I'd bought it here in Ireland.

1 store even had it almost 3 times what I paid, rip off Ireland for you.
