November 17, 20187 yr After a long time of testing I am finally happy with my Tomato preset salad. With these settings it looks realistic and not too shiny also in dawn. I see so many settings where the planes shine and glitter like a christmas ball!

Hi Dmitrij, Yes - if you land/taxi in with icing/contamination on the flaps then you're supposed to leave them extended and cary out an external inspection before stowing them.

November 22, 20187 yr Since we're flying Spirit, there's obviously something broken on the plane, in this case, the taxi light. Just kidding, I forgot it. (On a side note, the MD-82X for P3D actually does MEL items ) Some nice hills down there indeed! By the way, these are a couple of things the Bus did during the flight... #1: AP engaged, no clouds around, señor director del vuelo was perfectly aware that the wisest thing to do would be just to maintain straight and level flight. But the autopilot was feeling adventurous enough for a trip to the Everglades! #2: Again, AP engaged, one would assume it would make sense to just smoothly keep sliding down the approach, right? The autopilot, however, wasn't having any of it! Point the nose skywards, and off we go! One thing I couldn't screenshot was the fact that el Bus de la muerte yelled "100 above" and "minimums" or whatever twice - once when radio altitude was at the set value for MDA (which is obviously incorrect for a non precision approach like this RNAV one) and the second time when barometric altitude was approaching MDA. (that would have been correct, dear bus.)
