I know from the forum that the a320 will not work with the latest P3dv4.3 at present. Is there any way I can temporarily disable the A320 until a fix is available?

You should be able to deselect it from the add-ons list within P3D. 

You can also uninstall it and wait for the updated version. 

Go to: %programdata%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg

and set the FSLabs-Entries to "ACTIVE=false", see below:

This at least won't prevent the Sim from starting...
