October 18, 20178 yr Hello, I am very interested to purchase this product! I am just wondering on how my PC would run with 8GB worth of ram... I saw on the website it said: '<Minimum 16gb of RAM' Is 8gb enough? What does RAM do exactly in P3D V4? Does this affect performance ? I would love to get this aircraft! I'm too scared to purchase in case of the bad FPS. By watching videos online with the difference performance with the 8gb and 16gb I don' notice a big change in FPS or stutters for example... All I can see is maybe a 4-8fps decrease. My setup is: Intel Core I5-4590 GTX760 4K monitor 8GB of Ram Installed Thanks, Jack Sparrowhawk.
October 18, 20178 yr Hi, I have the same amount of RAM and with a lot of airport scenery, I do have a lot of stutters at biggest airports.

October 18, 20178 yr Hello Jack. Minimum sadly means minimum. Yes it might load. Ys it might fly but your performance most likely wouldnt be to your satisfaction. I would try and invest in getting that RAM first. On a slightly different note, please update your forum name to be your real name. Thanks.

October 18, 20178 yr Depends on the graphics settings but at 4k I doubt it. I get between 55fps and 85fps cold and dark, but had a few dips below 30fps in bad weather today during takeoff.

Also I dont run the sim in 4k I run in 1080p just because it more smooth:)
