Can paints actually damage aircraft files?

Featured Replies

Hey,

I am going to upload a livery to fsl forum, some people add disclaimers stating there not responsible for damage. Can paints actually damage and corrupt the aircraft files? Probably a really stupid question just dont want to get into trouble for sim damage

They can't.  Users can mess things up on their own system.

So installing can not damage files? Just wondered why they added a disclaimer if it wont have an effect, do you know why?

Manual installation always comes with a risk. Especially editing the cfg file in a wrong way can get you into trouble. I don't see the need for a legal disclaimer, though. A reminder to always back up files at most...
