  2. Concorde Performance System X: http://concordeperformancesystem.org/ Concorde Performance System X (referred to as CPS-X hereafter) is a standalone utility which can be used with SSTSIM for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (aka FS9) and FSLabs Concorde X for FSX, FSX-SE, P3D v2.x and v3.x. It allows the most demanding simmers to plan any Concorde flight either subsonic or supersonic. Any airport included in the simulator can be chosen as departure, destination or alternate, provided that it has a long enough runway to takeoff or land Concorde. CPS-X is only a fuel and performance planner, not a route planner. This means that you first need to use software like PFPX, FS Commander, or any route planning tool to generate the routes that CPS-X will use. Those routes must be exclusively created in FS2004 (text file) or FSX/P3D (xml file) *.pln files format. If not, CPS-X will not be able to use them. The tool provided by FSLabs only allows the calculation of the performance for some of the most popular airports used by Concorde during her illustrious career and only with a few loading profiles. CPS-X offers virtually unlimited routes only restricted by your own imagination. CPS-X allows you to calculate the right balance for any load, the right amount of fuel required and its distribution and the correct takeoff and landing performance. The performance provided by CPS-X is based on the real aircraft documentation from Air France. CPS-X uses several weather sources to compute the performance and fuel required. Real weather can be downloaded from NOAA servers or programs such as Hi-Fi Simulation Technologies Active Sky 2016 (only for FSX and P3D) or set manually by the user. CPS-X benefits from 5 years of experience developing previous versions while listening to and supporting its users. It is the sum of these 5 years that has helped me to improve it. This is a short summary of this product that should satisfy the most demanding fans of “Hard Core” Concorde simulation. Pierre Chassang

    Concorde X Upgrade?

Hello all, I know this is the wrong forum topic, I should put it in Concorde X but it does not allow me to for some odd reason. Anyway, have purchased the Concorde X in December of 2018 and it has done great for me, however I am actually interested in switching to P3D and was wondering if there was anyway I could possibly get a P3D key and installer or pay a fee to do a conversion.

    Concorde INS Failure Handling

For some reason I cannot post in the Concorde-X forum, so having to post here. I have had INS1 fail in flight, no idea why, all the buttons work but don't do anything and the rotary switches don't move. Nevertheless, the other 2 INSs are fine but I can't seem to find out how I switch the NAV to use INS 2 or 3. Any help? Thanks in advance

    CIVA INS 64-bit news

This topic is simply to keep you in the loop regarding work on a 64-bit version of the CIVA INS which will be required should FS Labs proceed with a 64-bit version of Concorde. Back in May I asked the author of the CIVA INS - Marco Ravanello - if he would be able to create a 64-bit version. You can read the discussion here. http://www.simufly.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1496075111 You'll notice he needs to test his code with a freeware 64-bit P3D aircraft. If any of you know of one please post here. If none appear in a reasonable timescale then maybe some of us could make a donation so he can buy a commercial one and test his code. Please do not use this topic for any bashing of FS Labs. Two topics have already been locked because of this. A 64-bit CIVA INS does not guarantee Concorde will be converted but it does make it feasible. And FS Labs have a lot of work to finish the A320 but having an available CIVA INS would make their life a lot easier.
  7. Hello guys, Fifteen years ago, I recorded a documentary about Concorde that was aired on German television using my VHS recorder. I recently had an opportunity to convert it into a digital video file, and the video is now available on my Youtube channel. The video documents an Air France round trip to New York, the history of Concorde and the tragic crash in year 2000. I think you will like the documentary (it's in German, but I have provided English subtitles, just make sure to activate the CC button). Here is the link:

    Concorde X crashes at 3%

Hello, Yesterday I received Concorde X (boxed edition) after purchasing it from Aerosoft. i installed it, but whenever I selected it in the FSX menu (FSX Steam Edition) the game would crash. I reinstalled it and this time I managed to select it, but now when I load the flight FSX crashes at 3% loading. I have CIVA INS installed, and I have checked multiple times and do not have any of the conflicting windows updates that I know of. Any help would be appreciated, because I would love to fly this beautiful plane. Thanks, Colin
  9. Hello Guys! My name is Cláudio and i'm from Brazil. Sorry about my poor english. I know that this fórum is abou FSLabs Concorde X but, i know that there is a member of the old SSTSIM forum here and for this reason i 'm writting this topic and asking for a support. Please could you help me??? 1 - There is a problem with SSTSIM Concorde and AES. When i ask for push back, right after the tow car disengage, my Concorde "fly" on the ground. Is there any way to solve this? (SOLVED) 2 - I've tried to install the SSTSIM with Flight1 Wrapper in Win10, but nothing happens. Flight1 told me that ask support for SSTSIM or search on internet for any way to install it in Win10. Is there any way to solve this? I'd like to fly my Concorde in Win10 in FS2004. Because of this problem, i've downgraded my OS to Win7 Ult. I have the FSX, and intend to buy the Concorde X but i don't want throw away my FS2004 and my add ons. Waiting for your response. Best regards and thanks for advance. Cláudio Just an update: the AES problem is solved but the Win10 compatibility remain.

    Testing Concorde's Max Range

Concorde's maximum range is 4500 statute miles (3910nm). Whilst the EGLL-TBPB route is a challenge it can be flown with 7-10T of fuel remaining. It just so happens that the distance between Honolulu and Aukland, NZ is 3814nm or 4389 statute miles. 111 miles inside the max range. Here's the route if you fancy flying it and testing your skills at maximum fuel handling techniques. I'll be trying it in the next few days. How many pax can you load using CPS? Not many I guess. Weather will need to be favourable too. PHNLNZAA_C.pln

    Concorde flying from CDG

Apologies if this is in the wrong thread, for some reason I wasn't able to directly comment in the Concorde forum.. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any info on Concorde Air France operations from CDG. I'm ashamed to admit that my AF Concordes have been lacking in my attention for a few years but I decided to get the Aerosoft CDG (reasonable price) so that I had a realistic base to fly from. Does anyone know what gates the AF Concordes could usually be found out and can anyone describe the correct departures used while operating there.. thanks, Cameron.

  19. Hi guys, I recently purchased P3D and with it the Concorde from FSLabs. When I run the Concorde-X installer on the simulator selection platform box, my P3D is greyed out and unable to be selected. Also I am running PreparD V3.4.22.19868 which I think is the latest version at this moment in time. I have looked up the issue and I have tried multiple things including trying to rename P3D .exe file to try and get it to find it but that didn't work. Any help would be highly appreciated.

    Pre-Production Concorde G-AXDN

    Version v2.1

    862 downloads

This is Concorde G-AXDN, the Concorde which achieved the legendary Mach 2.22 in flight testing, making it a record holder in the area of pure speed. This file includes: The repaint texture folder, and an aircraft.cfg guidance file. This repaint was originally made by Hightower; however, the textures were low quality and didn't work properly on most computers. Therefore, I decided to enhance his textures for increased resolution as well as compatibility. Enjoy!

  23. Recently I've been running into a minor issue. It's more annoying than anything, and it's just a minor inconvenience at takeoff. Recently, whenever I take off, the takeoff monitor lights do not turn green at 100 knots. Consequently, the virtual flight engineer calls out "100 knots, engine failure." All 4 takeoff monitor lights then turn green around roughly 150 knots. I also noticed they ignited several seconds later than normal. I'm not sure what's causing this. Yes, the reheats are properly armed and when I switch to an external view, they are on. The takeoff monitor button is in, and the engine 4 N1 switch is at 88%. Fuel is flowing normally and at a correct rate. Any insight into this??? FredricG

    Can't change Keyboard Commands

Hi there, today I updated the Concorde for P3D according to the introductions. All is fine except for reassigning the Keyboard Commands. I can set up a new key command via the menu, but it won't save it. Does anyone know a solution? Regards, Julius
