Probably the worst example of how not to fly an Airbus
Scott Harmes replied to Ray Proudfoot's topic in General Forum
Yeah scary. I've watched two videos on this now. Unbelievable that someone that irresponsible can be in charge of a commercial airliner. - Yesterday

Is FSLABS still developing Aircraft
Norman Blackburn replied to Dean R Fariel's topic in General Forum
Hello Kyle, Whilst our main focus in towards MSFS this doesn’t mean there will be nothing more for our P3D customers, merely that, time and need existing, bug fixes for example, could make their way out. Similarity, we constantly analyse the marketplace in regards to new titles. -
I still use P3dv5.4 should I expect anything for P3d with FSlabs or no ? Kyle

We are currently focused on bringing our existing products into MSFS at this present time.

Its been very quiet here at FSLABS. No updates no progress reports, it's been a ghost town. Last update was August 2023. Anyone know whats going on?

Hello everyone, my cockpit is progressing very good so far. But im still missing parts in order to complete the interior... (eg. covers for the sliding windows...) Does anyone have an idea where to get sliding window covers (only the cover not the entire mechanics). I already checked out avoempars and actually got quite some nice parts there for my project but unfortunately there not bound to provide the side windows in the foreseeable future ;/ Thank in advance Kind wishes Jan

I was able to assist Dave but I’ll leave it to him to post the details.
-
be good if you post the solution might help others with the same issue
-
Though FSlabs makes good A319/A320/A321 series but I really hope they would try to bring into MSFS a bigger plane like A330, there are lots of A320 already,
-
Can we discuss this via email please, Ray? As it's not a subject for this forum, I believe it would be more appropiate? I will PM you my email?
-
Dave, what problems and have you posted them on the support forum?
-
I am running P3Dv5.3 and the level 2 version having also started with the level 1. Because the A320 family is so interesting I only fly them.

I am on P3Dv4.5. I have had GSX for quite some years and had very little issues. From the top of my head I think there was 1 or 2 updates along the way that messed up some stuff, but as I never update things the same day it's published I got a warning from a fellow sim friend that I should wait until they fixed it. So I never had big issues. To me it's been working very good and I have enjoyed it very much, both with PMDG and specially the integration with FSLabs A32X. However I have noticed that there are users who are having issues, not getting it to work properly.... I really hope you get it sorted, it's very good when it works. Cheers

Dave, I’ve looked through the first five pages on the P3D section and can’t see any posts in your name unless you’re using a different one. You don’t list what version of P3D you’re running or what other FSDT products you might own. GSX only or Level 2? What problems precisely are you experiencing and with what aircraft. Your first post was missing so much important info.
-
I'm a little surprised that you should say that, Ray. You have been around a long time and I have supported you elsewhere. Certainly, your 'setup' reply, was not expected, without knowing. You only need to checkout the FSDG forum to realise that I am just, one of many. The product is FAR from perfect.

-
It's much more stable in MSFS than P3D - it almost never worked properly there and almost always works perfectly in MSFS 2020 - I trust it will continue to do so in MSFS 2024
-
Me,on P3D5. Always get probs, so only use certain aspects of it...fuel,catering. Asked for a stand-alone P3D5 installer and updater to no avail. No probs on MSFS.
-
Use GSX all the time across a range of aircraft, integration with FSL A32* series fully functional.
-
@Dave Taylor, I’ve had GSX / GSX Level 2 for several years. Very few issues. It remains central to my enjoyment of P3Dv5. If you’re having ongoing problems it suggests a problem with your setup rather than with the product itself.
-
How many of you still use it and how many, like me, have given up completely? I'm fed up with Couati reports, etc. MSFS users needen't bother commenting. I'm referring to P3D users only.
-
What I find strange is I started this thread to inform people who didn’t have access to active sky that they now do..how the hell did it end up at frame rates??..it usually escalates to msfs v p3d ..and for once I’m not going anywhere near that..because that’s how threads get locked
-
I'm not referring to image quality here, but rather the smoothness of motion. While 30 frames per second at 4K resolution may offer better visual clarity, it will inevitably feel less fluid in comparison to 60 fps at 720p. Anyway, this debate is as old as the internet. Happy that you enjoy simming at lower refresh rates. It is indeed better for the environment after all..
-
Higher refresh rate monitors are there for a reason yes..to move along the frames at a decent refresh rate on the monitor so it doesn’t get choked up..it’s never about frame rates..it’s about the quality of the frames being produced..a good high spec graphics card like a 3090ti or something similar will obviously produce better quality images than a cheap gtx 270..but it’s the stuff around it that makes a difference as well..I like I said have had my frames set at 35 maximum for years and to absolutely no detriment to performance due to the quality of the frames produced
