I use the PMDG737 on FS9.1.

I have the CPFlight MCP?plus the?Captain EFIS and FO EFIS on my setup.

When I use the CPFlight FSCom driver, the First Officer EFIS has limited funtions =?ND Range selector, Stations/Waypoints/Airports/Data only work. Which is fine for when I have a Co-Pilot.

But when I use the Flightsimlabs driver, nothing works on the FO EFIS. Any reason for this?

(I have not purchased it yet, just trying it at the moment).

Hello-

the PMDG 737 does not support F/O functionality at all (there's no F/O panel, and in the VC, all right-side instruments are copies of the left side).

The 747-400, however, does have an F/O side, and there, dual EFIS is fully supported!

Let me explain exactly what I refer to.

I only use the 2D Panel on the PMDG 737.

Although there?are no F/O functions on the PMDG 737, my F/O EFIS limited functions do work on the ND.

Using the CPFlight driver: On the F/O EFIS, if you change the ND Range, turn on/off the Stations/Waypoints/Airports/Data,?the changes happen on the ND.

So if I have a a friend flying with me as F/O and he wishes to change e.g. the ND Range, he can do so.

I am just wondering why the F/O EFIS doe's not work at all?with your driver, but?works with the CPFlight Driver.

Hi Terry- (I think we flew back from Paderborn once)

I see what you mean. Due to the different nature of programming (the drivers follow the PMDG code example / paradigm), this is no longer possible, as it would generate conflicts between the two EFIS modules (not to mention that it's a bit unrealistic ;-)). It's done though for the 747, where the F/O side is active.

You are of course correct - conflicts between both EFIS and very unrealistic :-)
