Hi,

I am using the Flightsim labs driver?for the PMDG B737?with CP Flight MCP, Efis, Radios and Transponder.? It all works very well indeed and I feel I have a stable interface that?performs consistently.? I am very pleased with it and I will continue to use it.

I also have a gear lever and several switches and LEDs connected through the CP Flight MCPEX1 board which were working very well when I was using the old CP Flight Key Commands, but they do not work with this new driver. I understand that the new Flightsimlab driver will not support the CP Flight MCPEX1 Board.

I wonder if anyone has any advice or if Lefteris could tell us if it is intended to add this functionality to the Driver.

Real shame because I was 2 minutes away from buying this module online. I am a satisfied user of the fslabs plugin for cpflight MCP, and will remain to be, but my next step was building the MIP panels and electornis, and after some very (!) long research FSbus, IOCards, phidgets, etc etc came to the conclusion that the Cpflight module was the way to go, especially because it is so easy to setup and wire leds and inputs, contrary to other IO cards. I just filed it in my basket on aviation megastore, and now I will remove it with pain in the heart. I think this is a missed oportunity, I think we have to admit that the CPflight is for the serious builder, hence the 1:1 scale, this combined with pmdg compatibility, thanks to you was the best thing ever. I feel a bit sad and again "scared" to go purchase IO boards from which I just know I will lose loads of time on them trying to figure them out and make them work. Same scare I had when I used to try and make the MCP work with PMDG, using keystrokes etc.. in the end failing everything. Reason why I liked your one-step plugin and was more than willing to pay for. I use it all the time and would ahve liked this same one-step solution for a good IO-card.

Next step would have been overhead, and I was really satisfied to have 2 main systems, Cpflight running MCP/COM/NAV, CDU engravity and now possibly the MIP, and on the other hand a huge leap with a second system separate for the overhead which I knew was going to be hard, much harder then the MIP, but the CP-card looked to seay, just have a look at the manual that is on their site and you will see it is well worth supporting and people who are not so technical (hence buy one-step-solution products for a good price like the FSLABS plugin ) will ask for it again for sure.

Anyways, like I said, still like the product and thanks good job, hours and hours of flying time fun

If you want to build a MIP, it is still possible to use the CPFlight MIP737.

This card is very easy to install and the card works very well with the FlightSimLab drivers.

Also the Engravity hardware you can attach to the MIP737.

I hope this helps you a bit on building a MIP panel.
