Without Spotlights installed, FSX runs fine. Please reply ASAP.

Are you running any add-on DirectX enhancer, such as SweetFX or some such?

Nope. I am running DX10 mode (with Steve's fixer), if that matters though.

Can you uninstall the spotlights entirely and let me know if that stops the DLL crash?

Yep. If I uninstall FSLSpotlights, FSX-SE runs perfectly fine.

EDIT: FYI, v1.0.0.15 also crashes for the same reason. Just tested it.

Are you running in full screen mode?

Nope - windowed mode. It shouldn't matter, though - the crash is before I can even get to the Free Flight screen.

Can you check and list here any dlls in the FSX root folder that start with "dx" ?

There's one: dx10fixerlib.dll. Gathering from the name, I think it's from Steve's DX10 Fixer (which I use).

OK - can you right-click it and select "Properties" then the General tab, to tell me the "Created" date for this file?

It was created on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 5:29:35pm.

Can you please zip it up and send it as an attachment to support (at) flightsimlabs (dot) com?

Done.

Can you please update Steve's DX fixer to the latest version? Seems the one you're running is about a year old now.

Wilco, will do. Will report back with results.

EDIT: Seems to work. Thanks!
