January 1, 197056 yr Author I still have issues with the MCPPro locking up. Sometimes it is the display that will not update but the switches, wheels, knobs still work and sometimes it is the display that works but nothing else. I have the A22 firmware installed. I have had conflicting things said to me about where to plug it in. Some say that because it uses a lot of power for the displays you need to plug it in to a powered hub and some say it needs to be plugged into the PC port itself. Currently have it plugged into a hub that can supply 1amp of power on two of its ports. Only using the flightsimslabs driver and no other driver installed at all for it. Disable the other driver on load unless I am not using the PMDG.
January 1, 197056 yr John- I would definitely prefer plugging it directly into the PC and modifying the USB power settings so that the computer doesn't try to disconnect it automatically to save power...
February 5, 201115 yr I have been experiencing this problem since I bought the driver interface for my FSX long time ago... My MCPPro is plugged directly on my PC but still locks! What else can it be caused by? Thanks Nicola
