Yesterday I finally received my MCP737USB wich I bought from a guy in Holland.

I connected this MCP on one of my USB ports and Vista 64 bit installed a USB driver from the net.

Then I went to your flightsimlabs website to download the trial version driver.

I started my PMDG747400X plane with the APU running and placed it on the Venizelos airport but the MCP is not showing anything and it stays in the standby mode.

The selftest when you connect this MCP to the power adapter was ok.

Can somebode help me with this issue?

Are you certain the COM port is installed properly? Try looking in the Control Panel (Device Manager->Ports) to see if you have the appropriate Port installed and working. Baudrate should be 38400.

When you place your aircraft at LGAV Venizelos, you should select the dialog interface window under the FS menu "Addons" and make sure that you have the proper parameters selected, then hit "Connect". If you like, check the box for debug output to see if there's any connection made.

You should have told me that we have to go to the FS lab addons menu to select the right com port.

Now everything works fine but the next problem is there.

I want to purchase the driver but when I hit the Purchase button then I see the screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Need your help on this.

first, make sure you're not in full screen mode.

second, if you hit "Purchase" and FSX crashes, it's a well-known issue, and the solution is described in our Knowledge Base (have you looked there?) - If that's not your problem, please provide more information and we'll be glad to assist!

OK, that must be the reason that it didn't work.

I will try to purchase your driver on Wednesday when I have more time in the evening.

I have some final questions for you.

CPflight has a program called MCP_CONF witch you can not use together with your driver and in this program you can set the N1 switch to use it as a TO/GA switch.

Also it is possible to control the display?lights and the backlights for my MCP.

Can I control these things also when I use your driver?
