I posted this a couple of months ago but been away a lot since then. So when I start flying again the same problem arise, i.e this:

"My installation program finds the FSX without any problems - but not the PMDG 744. FSX has no problems finding B744; it's a standard installation directly from CD.

Please don't ask me to check the registry - at least not without telling me how to do that (because I have no idea).

if you can simply reinstall the 744 and after that, reinstall the driver, it should be OK.

Sorry. It didn't work. What exactly is the installer looking for? There is no .exe-file (apart from the fuel loader) in the PMDG folder.

It's looking for the full updates... the 747 has to be up-to-date.
