Mark Richards 26 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I'm contemplating purchasing an A320 model as a professional training tool for ECAM / System Failures.. I can't decide whether it's best to purchase the FS Labs or the Fenix Version. It primarily comes down to the number of failures that the can be simulated and how realistic the aircraft behaves / replicates them in regards to an ECAM drills and reconfiguration. Is there a list of the Failures /Drills that the FS labs can simulate? Hoping that someone has experience on this topic can provide some guidance.. Many thanks Quote
András Nyeste Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Since you let the genie out of the bottle... There is an endless dispute on which has the better systems/ECAM/Abnormal simulation FSL or the Fenix or the Toliss. I guess it will be decided right after a decision is made on either Android or iOs being the best. Or maybe not even then. Using all three, and being a SOP/ABN geek myself (while not being rated on the A320 family) I am using the Labs most of the time. My preference because: MEL Connecting failures (if you neglect it or do incorrect procedures then it can really ruin your day) Service based failure intervals And it has a decent VNAV Quote
