I would like to buy very shortly the interface for Goflight and 747-400X but i would like that you confirm that the MCP should AND WILL work with any firmware -A22 To -A25.

Drivers are not my area at all, so i may be mistaken, but i believe that you can download and test the demo version in a limited area?

Maybe I'm not understanding, but the point of me mentioning the demo was so that you could test the product with the hardware, and be sure that it worked with the firmware that you have... Or do you not yet have the hardware? In which case, that's one for Lefteris...

What i imagine is that some are working and some not. And in the case it doesn't work you suggest to transfered the case to your collaborator Lefteris ? In your point of view what will be exactly the solution . A fix for the interface for version late than 22 or a global fix for any of them ?

there's no need to get snippy with Smiffy - especially since he's correct in that you CAN download the product FREE of charge, test it to your heart's content (at a limited area around LGAV) and see for yourself if it covers your specific needs.

We have no specific instruction from GoFlight as to any differences in newer firmware versions, but I am sure they will confirm any such changes if you approach them directly (after all, it's THEIR firmware that is the issue at hand here).

Thank you very much for your answer. It was just a little question because i saw somewhere in forum that you mentionned something about version 25 to somebody, and recommend to contact GOFLIGHT and exchange for another firmware etc.

So if firm. 22-25 should work with, that's fine to me.

It's such confusing when you read some of this response into any forum for a non-familiar like me who expect that is Module will work with an interface that i was looking for many months.

I would REALLY appreciate it if you did not put words in my mouth. I did NOT confirm that the drivers work with A22 up to A25, simply because I can't confirm this (we don't get regular firmware updates from GoFlight). All I said was that YOU can confirm freely, because the download is completely and absolutely free, so you can test. As you can clearly understand, we cannot be testing all their firmware updates constantly, because they're not downloadable via the Internet (one needs to send the unit back to them, they will update, etc. etc.)

If we are advised by GoFlight that there has been changes in their firmware that require updates to our software, we will be glad to accommodate, but up to now, there has been no such notice.

I am back with an answer from GoFlight for MCP pro firmware version compatibility.

To check the firmware version on your MCP-Pro all you need to do is

unplug the USB cable from the back and plug it back in in the left

course window you will see the firmware version A25 is the current

version.A25 firmware fixed the freezing problems that the MCP-Pro was

haveing.

If your are going back to firmware A22 you will get some freezing issue as mentionned by Goflight tech support but the FLIGHTSIMLABS interface will work and you will fly the Queen PMDG. It's an individual choice. Freezing and/or an interface for now.

When GF fixed the firmware in the last version A25 the serial # was removed because

there was no memory left on the processor in the MCP-Pro. That's why

if you upgrade to A25 FLIGHTSIM LABS will not have the serial # to

license your interface software.This was unavoidable to fix the

firmware for the freezing problem the MCP-Pro was having with some

add-on's.

I hope that Flightsim Labs will find a solution to produce an interface who will work with the A25 firmware and without the needed of serial number on your MCP pro.

I am asking the developer if you have any suggestion to avoid and produce an interface who will work.

No problem to pay for it.
