Brad Zimmer Posted Friday at 03:24 PM Posted Friday at 03:24 PM I am slowly but surely trying to build out a home cockpit. I have the Skalarki MCDU, FCU, Throttletek Flightbox V2, FSProjects Stick with Moza base and a set of pedals. I know Skalarki isn't compatible yet, but assuming it does soon, i should have a decent setup. I'd like to add a few more components but I am not sure what else is out there that is not a full blown cockpit. I use a 49 inch wide curved display that I'd like to have that for more sight than cockpit. Does anyone else know what is available out there that I can look into for MIP, FD, radio, overhead etc.? Though a little sloppy, my set up is below. I also use the stick behind the moza as my tiller with the twist axis. Thanks! 4 Quote
Brad Zimmer Posted Friday at 05:15 PM Author Posted Friday at 05:15 PM Also, not sure why this went to Flight Dynamics so if it needs to be moved, please do so Quote

My side stick all in was about $600. The base has force feedback and that was approximately $500 and the stick itself was about $150 when I bought it (https://www.fsprojects.eu/). The one downfall with it is that it takes a very long time to ship. I want to say I waited about 3 months to get it. Quote
Jose R. Cardona Posted yesterday at 06:26 PM Posted yesterday at 06:26 PM Hi Brad. I got my moza base a couple of weeks ago, and it has become the cornerstone of my setup. Have you figured a cockpit profile for fslabs? I have been testing v1sim profile for other sim airbus and feels fantastic, but so far I have not been able to replicate the same for fslabs. Quote

I too use v1's profiles but regardless of the profile, I don't see much difference. So i think i might have set it up wrong. Having said that, I use the profile from v1 when I am using Fenix or FSlabs and it feels the same to me. What is the process you did to set it up? I want to see if maybe I am loading it wrong. 1 Quote

They help me to avoid mouse or keyboard interactions during a flight completely, supporting immersion quite nicely. Radio, WX/ATC, lights, ECAM - all done via the Stream Decks. Beside the money saving effect it's also very flexible. 1 Quote

I want to see if maybe I am loading it wrong. I downloaded the presets to documents/moza cockpit/presetlibrary. Then in Moza cockpit app, open presets tab, then small grey download arrow “import presets”, then restart the app for them to show up. After that just load the specific preset. For the fenix they recommend on the sim axis sensitivity settings: all linear, no deadzone, only set extremity deadzone +20 on roll and pitch axis. After the profiles are loaded can change them “on the go” without any restart. Have you tried the default A320 profile? I can certainly feel the difference with that one. Quote
