Chuck Oman Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Has anyone found a way to assign the "ATC MSG" CPDLC message button to a joystick button or keyboard key sequence? Chuck O Quote
Chuck Oman Posted June 17, 2022 Author Posted June 17, 2022 The CPDLC ATC MSG button is often not in view. But when it starts chirping it has to be cancelled. Was hoping I could assign a joystick button or keyboard key to do it. Has anyone found a way? Chuck O Quote
Alexandre Kubatko Posted June 17, 2022 Posted June 17, 2022 While it can be assigned via a rotorbrake code to be pushed, the rotorbrake responsible to release the button doesn't seem to work (and for some reason I never got a macro to work on it). So, unfortunately, if you press the bind you assign, it'll stay depressed until you click on it in the VC. Quote
Chuck Oman Posted June 17, 2022 Author Posted June 17, 2022 Thanks Alexandre. I'll go look again at the tutorial you posted in '19. ( Once the button is pushed and stays stuck in, does it then cancel all subsequent alert chirps? Chuck O Quote
