Well, I have never seen a fictional livery from @Matthew Ashman... So I'd be surprised if the G-EZOA doesn't have Sharkys here! 1 1

Well, in all seriousness, I'd love to be constructive and more precise on what I mean, but it's a bit difficult to put into words. I'm just getting an "FSX vibe" from these screenshots. But then again, I don't fly in external view so it won't really matter that much to me. And if everyone else likes it, I guess there's no problem. 1

Keep in mind that those are not official fslabs shots but beta tester shots, you can clearly see the different settings that they got. Im sure the final product will look just fine.

Paul Parkin Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 I think the shine looks pretty good, aircraft IRL aren't that shiny given they spend all of their time exposed to the elements.

Daniel Du Preez Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Hi all, With the NDA lifted I can showcase what I've been up to the last few weeks. I consider this my COVID-19 furlough project as I was off work for almost a month and a half but I'm back into the fold now thankfully! I spent my time off working on an all-new 4K PBR-enhanced fuselage kit and am combining it into a full-featured kit in collarboration with @Hugo Bicho and @John Tavendale. This is leveraging Hugo's wings, engines, pylons, stabs and other bits. I've completely reworked the entire fuselage, including panelling, rivets, wing box, doors, landing gear struts, tires, cockpit area (including wipers), cabin windows with accurate shape and applied PBR custom effects where needed. The venerable @John Tavendale has been providing input too and I borrowed some of his bits (cargo doors, etc), so thanks John! He will also be doing the normal maps for the fuselage, which is still pending but coming soon. A lot of work has gone into this and I hope you can appreciate the finer details We are in the process of finalising it so that we can start pumping out liveries. But here are some WIP shots of some liveries I've got in the works Disclaimer: These are still WIP and may not represent final product. Air France F-GKXG Air New Zealand ZK-OAB Cheers, Daniel 27 3
Shanard LeTang Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Excellent work. Really missing this a/c right now in v5. But I know it's coming soon.

Matei Cojocaru Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 It seems that we'll be able to select the new ISIS with the update to come. And also, we'll be able to deselect and select the DCDUs but it seems that we'll only be able to deselect the DDRMIs with the SLs... I want to get rid of that DDRMI in my cockpit ASAP 1

Bloody hell I'm hyped . Tbh tho, I’d prefer the DDRMI if FSLabs made an A320 with the EIS1 (old CRT’s and Stanby’s) config. But then again EIS1 and EIS2 aren’t just the panel layouts, and it’ll be quite difficult to make a separate aircraft (like the -211 or the -212) for that config.

Rob Bates Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Crikey is the Bus amazing in P3D v5! Just did a quick pattern around "the shed" in appalling weather and it was as smooth as melted butter. The sim stuck to the 30fps i have limited through NVCP. Absolutely fantastic to fly with such smoothness and precision. Thank you FSLabs! I feel this is the sim performance i have always strived (dreamed?) to have ever since i started out with MSFS 5.0. And to have it on such a complex aircraft is truly incredible. Well done to all behind this masterpiece. 1
