MCP stop working

Hi,

just bought the driver for Goflight MCP but it stops as soon as I select heading on the rotary knob. It displays -99 and the MCP blocks and I'm unable to change any data on the rotary knobs or turn on F/D or A/T switch.

Tanks for your help.

Regards

Hi Henrique-

we have not noticed this problem before on our end.

Steps to debug the problem:

1) Load the 747-400X - make sure the "Reconnect on startup" is unchecked.

2) Enable the "debug" checkbox.

3) Hit "Connect"

4) Reproduce the hdg bug problem.

5) Copy the contents of the debug window into a Notepad file and send them to "support@flightsimlabs.com" with a short note that they are from you?

Thanks!

Hi Lefteris

My problem with the go flight MCP stops working when I turn the heading control slightly quick and even the IAS/ Mach control does the same, the unit stops inputting data but the screen and mouse controls remain in tacked.

I also noted that the altitude control response extremely well to quick input and does not seem to impair any functions off FSX at all.

Thanks

Duncan

Hi Lefteris

Fixed the problem I had concerning the air speed and heading controls which locked up the MCP, I had connected the USB cable for the mcp through the hub instead of direct to the computer, which seems to solve the problem.

Thanks

Duncan.

Glad to hear that Duncan and thanks for reporting back!

I will add this as a note to the GoFlight FAQ.
