I am trying to get the demo to work and I have been unsuccessful..

My fsx freezes when I start from the Athens Inl airport and PMDB 747.

I then started from Dallas and everything seems ok...I then try to move to Athens and it goes to Lalaland.

How much memory does this thing take?

Manny

PS: Does the win NT process "couatl.exe" belong to this interface? 'It sits there ..even after I exit FSX.

OK..I managed to test this..it seems to work.

But for some reason, I am running out of textures. Its having a difficult time loading textures.. even though the memory usage is only 1.37GB.? Its all default scenery at Athens. my FPS also drops considerably at Athens ..to 6FPS from 20FPS in Dallas area.

Not sure why I am running out of video memory for athens...and if this interface has anythinbg to do with it...not sure.

Does this interface take much resource at all? I wouldn't think so.

Manny-

our driver does not take up any significant amount of memory, nor do we have anything to do with "couatl.exe" (the only reference to it when googling the word was regarding a "World of Warcraft" monster :-)).

Thanks Lefteris.

Yeah..I wouldn't think it would take memory either. Maybe, I need to uninstall the inter face and try the 747 in Athens to see what the issue is.

And the Couatl.exe. Hmm.... not sure if that is to do with imaginesim's KJFK that I installed recently. I need uninstall that too.

I don't have any "World of warcraft" either. :) This PC is pure FSX!

Thanks again..

Manny

Manny-

reading some of the posts in the FSDreamTeam support forum, it seems that couatl.exe is indeed part of their addon manager mechanism.

Can you try uninstalling their JFK scenery (temporarily! :-)) and see if you can get the GoFlight driver to work without issues?
