September 3, 20197 yr Hello, I recently installed a Spotlight profile for the PMDG 747-8 but when the Spotlights are active through the control panel, the knobs within the PMDG VC do nothing. I can't turn the dome light on for example using the overhead option but have to use the panel at the bottom right of the screen if the light is active. Is this how it's always been? I'm somewhat new to using Spotlights on aircraft other than FSLabs.
September 4, 20197 yr Hi Brooks, FSL Spotlights do not interact with non-FSL aircraft meshes (i.e. knobs, buttons, etc). They need their own Spotlights window control to be managed. That said, we have not heard from any other users that their aircraft controls become disabled - this should not be the case. Can you please take a video to showcase this issue? Thanks!
